I want to see ACB or Lagoa accepting the nomination in tears, telling the world how much of an inspiration RGB was to them, and how honored they are to follow her if confirmed. And then let the Dems be Dems and go into full mud slinging mode, swinging some women/Catholic/Hispanic votes.

There's only one strategy I care to see. Nominate ACB today and tell Lindsay Graham he has one job in life and that is to expedite this confirmation, ignore the circus the dems will create, and get to the finish line.

A note or two on the Catholics. Most Catholics concerned with the pro life issue don't see Sotomayor as a "Catholic" on the issue due to her unwillingness to answer direct questions on the topic, and her positive comments about Roe. So in most Catholic minds, ACB would be the 5th, and only women effectively being pro-life.

Thomas wasn't a Catholic when appointed. He's flip flopped a couple times IIRC between Protestant and Catholic, but most see him as a Catholic now in terms of the issue.

Episcopalians are pretty liberal when it comes to the issue, and given some of Gorsuch's moves thus far, folks don't know what he'll do.

Ginsberg should have retired when the left was begging her to during Obama's second term. Ego, power, adulation, overconfidence in a HRC victory prevented her from doing so.

When Trump won, the left was upset at her but she reassured everybody that she would live until at least 90 and retire after trump's second term. They calmed down and turned her into a deity.

I'm going to guess that even though the poll was taken less than 2 weeks ago, the Dems would poll differently now. The IND polling is very interesting. Guessing we'll have some new polls this week lol.

I want Barrett for many reasons. Sadly, the big reason I prefer her over Rushing is I think suburban women will relate more with a mother of many kids who happens to be pretty rather than the bona fide hot mom that is Rushing that they all sorta hate because they all wish they looked like her.

It's not a satire account, the kid "punching holes in the drywall" is meme'ing and not supposed to be taken seriously. The person is mocking people who are saying things like their 6 year old unironically cried when told that RBG died or the equivalent.

They will have a few advantages to be accepted into ND as legacies and minorities. Maybe she is a closet Affirmative Action proponent.
