Would have to think Nick would come home to the alma mater if we're giving him the chance. Hell I know Clark Lea would. Nobody keeps contact with Sampson like that if he doesnt think he might be in South Bend again someday.

And guess what? He's qualified and good at what he does.

I think this one has to be Andy Buh though.

Roc Bellantoni has coached with Charlie Partridge at EIU and FAU. Did a stint at Drake from 1998-2000. He can coach linebackers and special teams. Very good recruiter. Chris Ash tried to hire him at Rutgers. He is currently open after the changeover at Auburn. Auburn fans love him. It was his second stint there.

Just throwing it out there. It would be a very solid hire. Coach Roc's guys love him.

TBH, I'm looking over the current LB Coach landscape in the NCAA and it's a lot of white guys. Like Iowa and Maine demographic type numbers.

Hafley was BC HC 2020-2023.

Think Washington and Hafley crossed paths at OSU.
