In attendance at Jackson Vaughn's commitment announcement.
160 is generous the kid is rail thinThat is a narrow dude. Listed at 165lbs and I believe it. Stud player, but man is he small lol.

Thing is he was thinking about reclassifying but he's so small (5'9¾ 159lbs camp measurements) albeit very talented. He needs at least 10-15 lbs on his frame to even make it worthwhile.Agreed. At 5'10, he's a slight dude. It'll be something to get him up to 180lbs.
Honestly, letting him reclassify and getting in a college S&C program may be the best thing for himThing is he was thinking about reclassifying but he's so small (5'9¾ 159lbs camp measurements) albeit very talented. He needs at least 10-15 lbs on his frame to even make it worthwhile.
bruh
Possibly, but unfortunately alot of times it doesn't play out that way. Alot of that depends on how he develops over the next 6 months, I think with Gay and Gamble in the class it would be fine to let him stay in his class.Honestly, letting him reclassify and getting in a college S&C program may be the best thing for him
I saw Ace Ventura wrestle that guy once.

Yeah he's a stud CB no doubt. I've seen some people here discussing him as a safety prospect, and I don't think that's even a remote possibility at less than 5'10 and less than 160 pounds. We still have some options at CB in this class, so I don't see how pushing for him to reclassify would be good for him or for ND. Let him add 15 pounds over the next year, continue with his current development at IMG, and join the 2028 class.I know he's tiny but I love his film. His break on the ball and tackling is about as good as it gets. He loses no speed in his breaks and shows both man and zone skill. Would love to add this guy to whatever class he decides to be in.

Edit: Just noticed 247 even lists him as a safety prospect. Weird to me that anyone would look at him or his highlight tape and see a safety unless they're projecting a significant height/weight increase.
Precisely, kid needs sometime to season his game and work on adding a few lbs before enrolling into college. He will be best served as a nickel in college.Yeah he's a stud CB no doubt. Or let him continue to grow and workout in HS then just a college S&C programHonestly, letting him reclassify and getting in a college S&C program may be the best thing for him
IMG is in the top 1% of s&c programs. Not even in the same atmosphere as Nd and what it offersOr let him continue to grow and workout in HS then just a college S&C program
That's a fair point. I guess my other concerns would be overcrowding the DB class (assuming we get James and/or Torbert) and hampering his development by depriving him of 1 year of actual game action. I think if Torbert goes elsewhere, ND would probably pitch reclassification harder to Evans.IMG is in the top 1% of s&c programs. Not even in the same atmosphere as Nd and what it offers
I would be totally fine getting him in 28. Especially if we get greedy. That's a fair point.
