Because we're fans and we want everything right now.Evans is not ready for college ball. Not sure why he or fans want him to reclassify.

Any weight gain will be good for him because he surely won't be in the rotation as a FR reclassifying or even a Soph. He has excellent skills but is literally the size of Allen Iverson. He’s most likely not gonna develop a different frame with another year. He will always be an undersized player.
In actual football skill, he’s further along than normal for his age.

Of course, the only way you see the field at under 170 is if your a big play waiting to happen as a specialist, lighting fast, or one helluva Kicker 😄He’s already said he knows he wouldn’t play as a freshman if he reclassifies.
Lighting fast and elite athlete who began his career at James Madison...Ponds has excellent instincts and ball skills, he is also very physical and will come up in run support and plays much bigger due to his physicality and bounce (44" vert) to play balls at their highest point.Easy recent comp is D’Angelo Ponds. Minus height. Minus weight. Plus wingspan. Plus physicality.
Ponds never was above 175 on a roster. If people think Evans is gonna suddenly be 5’11 190 if he doesn’t reclassify by waiting a year, you’ll be sadly mistaken.
2+ inches shorter than Iverson but about the same weight. If he's even half as tough as AI then we're getting a good one whatever class he ends up in.Any weight gain will be good for him because he surely won't be in the rotation as a FR reclassifying or even a Soph. Allen Iverson was the best HS football player I’ve ever seen.2+ inches shorter than Iverson but about the same weight. If he's even half as tough as AI then we're getting a good one whatever class he ends up in.
