According to family lore, Monds's grandfather, who had fathered 11 daughters, had stated "Wonderful! Terrific!" after seeing his first son (Wonderful Monds Sr.)
Monds has four sons who became college or professional athletes: Wonderful Terrific Monds II (born 1973) who played Minor League Baseball, Mario Monds (born 1976) who played in the NFL, Devin Monds who played college baseball at Northeastern University and was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 47th round of the 2001 Major League Baseball draft, and a second son named Wonderful Terrific Monds II (born 1992) who played college football at Buffalo and FIU.

I love this kid already!!!

unbiased Tom confirms he’s a 5 star

Lemming did do a pod several months ago with Hansen right around when Monds reclassified and raved about him then, so his tune on Champ hasn't changed.

Believe he referenced a Heisman or two after watching a game of his fwiw.

Nobody has really changed the tune except those sites that support the good ol' boy states and the $EC

His commitment isn’t going to get the clout he deserves, but this is a massive get. Talking about the #1 2028 QB before reclassifying with offers from everyone.
I see 247 has him as a 3-star and composite has him as #20 QB. Any theories regarding the huge discrepancy in evaluations?

He dropped massively once reclassing. Then got stiffed for the elite 11 so he may sit as an underrated for a while.

Makes no difference to me because I see a powerful and fast running QB with an arm.

The drop and no invite make sense based on what they value. And I won't give a damn when he is wearing blue and gold.
