Yea. Flips are much more rare in this NIL eraDo we think that Henderson will 100% stay committed to A&M?
I think transfers are going to be more common than flips. A bunch of these guys they’re signing will transfer out.Do we think that Henderson will 100% stay committed to A&M?
A lot of these guys are putting ink to paper with NIL stuff before actual NSD so flipping is often a litigated headache people tend to avoid until the portal opens.I think transfers are going to be more common than flips. A bunch of these guys they’re signing will transfer out.
I know I would be really pissed off if my deciding factor for choosing a school was a lieI wonder if kids care that they get lied to by the coach they signed with. Like, say Freeman doesn't leave after this season - does Henderson (or any kid in this scenario) go "Hey, I'm here because you lied to my face about that."
He's getting paid handsomely, so maybe he doesn't give a crap. Who knows. I'd personally feel a way about it at least.
Probably depends on his experience there. I’m sure all of us in our jobs can find reasons to stay or leave depending on the day/season of work. If I want to leave I can find reasons or manifest reasons… if I want to stay I surely find reasons. So I don’t think about it until I think about it lol.I wonder if kids care that they get lied to by the coach they signed with. Not really. More like Justin ScottThis recruitment really seems like Keeley 2.0

Should've clarified- I was talking about the potential end result. If it's true what Elko said, and Freeman stays at ND, I'd be mad enough to transfer to ND.Nothing like it tbh
If this is true, then any negative recruiting from Elko probably wasn't the deciding factor.Just finished Locked on Notre Dame Football with guest recruiting scout Brian Smith and he said that the offer from A&M was enormous and ND would not match. Also noted that mom and dad were wanting Notre Dame and even informed A&M of that. Brian stated that Kaden committed to A&M when his father was not home.
I'm sorry, but I have to ask:I wonder if kids care that they get lied to by the coach they signed with. Like, say Freeman doesn't leave after this season - does Henderson (or any kid in this scenario) go "Hey, I'm here because you lied to my face about that."

Assuming the agent knows Freeman is gone after this year, the agent actually telling Elko is a stretch. Has Freeman fired his agent? If not, Elko is probably just talking out of his ass.I'm sorry, but I have to ask:
For those in the know, is there any possibility that Elko was telling the truth about MMFF leaving after this season? As in, MMFF has already decided that this is his last year at ND and their mutual agent knows that.
Certainly possible but it would just kind of defy logic. MF will simply take whatever NFL job he can get? After having 3 historic/stable franchises come after him 5 months ago and saying no? If the Packers or Chiefs or something similar opens and they look at him would I be worried? Absolutely. But the bottom feeders are becoming worse jobs than top college jobs by a pretty wide margin. Especially because the money is so similar now.I'm sorry, but I have to ask:

I dunno, maybe. Anything is possible. He’s probably closer to the end of his time at ND than he’s ever been before.I'm sorry, but I have to ask:

Agents also have a fiduciary duty to their clients. So not only would MF likely fire him, he could take legal action too.I dunno, maybe. Anything is possible. He’s probably closer to the end of his time at ND than he’s ever been before.
It’s kind of hard to believe that MF’s agent would tell Elko that, though. That’s the kind of thing that could be used against his client in the day to day of his job and I’d 100% fire his ass if my agent did that.
No.I'm sorry, but I have to ask:

The counter to that is Kaden isn't an unknown in the way KVA and Faraimo weren't unknowns. He's a highly probably successful CFB LB who should challenge within the first 1-2 years. If you can get a solid, late round draft pick caliber LB in the portal for $500k, its dumb to pay more than that for an unknown like Kaden. LB isnt the position group you should be going all out for, unlike QB, edge, and OL

Why would Freeman decide this so far in advance? To retire? He has no idea what jobs are going to be open after this upcoming football season. Nobody does.I'm sorry, but I have to ask:

The Elko thing is an interesting conspiracy theory, but yeah the money is probably a more likely explanation.No.
1. Freeman would never decide that in advance. He lives in the moment, he makes the decision when it needs to be made. Coaches don't architect their next move a year+ in advance. They evaluate options as they are presented because there are too many variables/changes to make that kind of decision.
2. Even in a world where Freeman did make decisions a year in advance, why in the hell would he share that with anyone? I find the whole idea to be bullshit. I think A&M offered more, the end.
This is Dat Nguyen erasure.A&M also hasn't produced a good linebacker core since world war 2 so they are desperate. Would make sense they overpayed. Wouldn't be super inspiring for me if I was a linebacker but a few extra hundred thousand $'s goes a long way.
He was awesome, but also played almost exclusively on the line of scrimmage.Von Miller also played there.
