This is a commitment that doesnt really move the needle but in the 105 man roster era I get why we took him. Congrats to the kid, hope you become a stud.

Damn I thought UCLA fans were recruiting fanatics now but their 247 board doesn’t know this has even happened yet lol

EDIT: just hit their site:

“got pulled away by Notre Dame's rich history of offensive line development and proven track record with the unit. Of course, the financials didn't hurt either.”

“Losing a battle to Notre Dame for a lineman is a tough pill to swallow, sure, but it's a testament to the caliber of player UCLA is now swimming with.”

Oh yeah that’s the stuff

Good find yesterday Philly!

Like the addition as a low cost (NIL), high upside take ala Charlie Thom last year.

Big boy with lots of room to fill out. Can likely play RT and guard at the next level.

Committed to UCLA initially and has Dartmouth and Cornell offers. The kind of kid that stays at least 4 years and gets his degree (and probably a masters).

Would be thrilled if he developed into Jarrett Patterson 2.0.

Nice pickup, I'm assuming he is going to be a guard prospect?

I'd imagine that like James Halter he'll be a swing RT/OG prospect that likely bumps inside, but is probably a good enough athlete to get a look on the edge.

Olu and Von Brandt are definitely the anticipated tackles in the class.

Did ND like him more than Starcevic, Wagner, and Esposito?

This kid is getting next to $0 NIL. All those guys would require quite a bit. Not a wise investment for those other 3, when they are going to have 3 top 100 linemen once LVB commits this week

Nothing will hit better than PSU fans last summer.

"Ok, so we lost Jadon Blair to them, they won't lose both JOB and Adams"
"Well, both of them won't go there"
"Ok, so what can you do. We still have McKeogh, and worst case Thom ready to commit"
"So Thom will commit since McKeogh is Irish"
"Well, fuck"
