I'll be curious to see if he still makes his visit in a month.

I wonder if there's any correlation with Fong's prediction for this one and Parks?

Prediction article has a great number of caveats in it (current pulse, ever-changing leaders, visits can change everything, etc.) I don't even think he knows where he wants to go yet. Article does state he will take all officials before he decides. I think if he makes it to ND, all bets are off. Especially after Vaughn pops next week

Gorney said this morning on Locked In Irish, that ND has “ a lot of ground to make up” … now these predictions come out after. I’d say bye to this one. On to the next

Not saying the staff is just going to concede this one, but do they try to flip Muhammad now? I'd be fine with a 5 man DL class of Parks, Folorunsho, O'Neil, Sesay, and Vaughn.

Because nobody knows what the hell is going on with this kid. It changes from day to day.
Then why put in a prediction? Genuinely asking. Do they get more points in their "prediction rankings" if they do it early? I feel like something must have changed.

Clicks today + clicks tomorrow is better than just clicks tomorrow
I hear ya, but you’d think they’d lose all credibility if they just throw in fake predictions all the time….. or maybe they all have already ?

No - Wiltfong is extremely accurate.
That is because he always changes at the last minute when he gets new intel. I do not think Wiltfong is more connected than anyone else. Some of them, like Singer, enjoy putting in predictions early. Wiltfong will always change at the last minute to keep his accuracy so high.

I mentioned it earlier. The day before Waffle committed, he predicted Ohio State. USC upped the price the next day and he flipped to USC. Wiltfong is good with the up-to-date stuff but not elite at projecting future picks if that makes sense.

You can certainly argue that the way he goes about his picks ruins the moment for kids. However, there’s nobody in the business, on a national level, more connected that SW.

If it were BK & his DL recruiting coach I'd count ND out, with Freeman & Partridge this is a recruitment they could pull off and if not ND has done a great job with defensive recruiting for the 2027 class.

With a "miss" here, would there be a must to go after another? With a 5-man DL class of Parks, Folorunsho, O'Neil, Sesay, and Vaughn that seems solid enough to me.

I think we should circle back on Muhammed and Emedobi.

Like WR, I’d be good with this class and wouldn’t seek a 6th. Overloading is fun but we did fine in DL last year and it creates gaps down the road not to mention transfer risks.

Agreed, I think they would overload the position only for the right player. If ND has the 5 we think they will get (Folorunsho, O'Neil, Vaughn, Parks, Sesay) then that is an excellent class already. Only Fakatou would really be worth going for that 6th Dlineman.

if we miss here and land the other five i would do one of three things:
1. Pursue Muhammad
2. Stay as is
3. See if someone emerges during their senior season/developmental guy
