Confusing after we stole their quarterback this year.
Who's throwing to him?

I have a feeling that until we put up decent passing numbers the receiver prospects will continue to avoid South Bend.

Chansi had no problem landing blue-chip WR’s (landed 6 in just 2 classes) to play in Rees’ offense. Unfortunately, his coaching ability didn’t match his recruiting ability. It’s definitely a bit concerning since ISD seems to believe there are only 4-5 WR’s in this class that we have a real shot at and after Mike Brown whiffed on the top targets in the 2025 class. There’s still time, but if what ISD said is true, there’s really no room for error at the position right now. ND needs to land Mosley and Brayden Robinson, as well as another WR at the top of their list that isn’t as likely at the moment as those 2.

Clemson's offense has been a dumpster fire for years and these two want on board that?

Dumb move by them.

I ain't here to cry cuz I only thought Salmin was a good back-half of a class take. At this point in his career he's a Go route runner with jet sweep at the HS level flexibility. His next cut will be his first. I remember watching his highlights for a LONG time before I saw something that wasn't a go route or jet sweep. He had a lot to learn. Still, woulda been nice at the 4 spot in a 4 WR haul.

He is going to have a Cam Williams FR year behind all of that talent at Clemson. And it's young with Wesco and Moore backing up Williams (who didn't enter the draft) and a healthy Tyler Brown. They may be the top passing O in the nation this year and you took a shot at Clemson's offense... that seems off. If Leonard's final passing stat line read 3600/63%/36TD/6Int, we'd be the NC's.

And Mosley seems like a long shot now

Blake Herbert isn’t playing meaningful snaps for either team.

Is there anyone who actually thinks ND is top10 in NIL? I don't believe they're top 15.

Depends on if you’re splitting “high school” vs “retention and transfer” NIL.

ND has gotta be top-10 easy, maybe even top-5, in College Player NIL.

Don’t think they’re top-10 in NIL to high schoolers if I had to guess, though

Yeah I think it’s more like spreading the pot around to the team rather than overpaying for several individuals who may not stick around.

lol. Let’s hear the 15 then.
Without looking up, the no brainers: OSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, Oregon, Michigan, Tennessee, LSU.

That's 11.

Probably: Florida, Clemson, Oklahoma, FSU, I'm sure I'm missing some.

A little early for that analysis. SC's got a pulse finally but he's also said he's told people he'll be in South Bend this spring.

Maybe the staff doesn't have him rated that high... like his brother or Marshall Pritchett?

But to be the OPOY in the Trinity League as a Soph says you are most likely all of that and more.

At least they'll sign Grant.

You can't find a credible source with knowledge of CFB NIL that will say ND's outside of the Top 5 in total expenditure.

I think they are top 5 with current players on the roster but I don’t even think they are top 12 comparing what some of these teams are giving HS kids

I think you gotta ask some of those fanbases if they think they outspend Notre Dame. Start with any Florida State fan

FSU’s 2024 budget was $12 million, per an Athletic article a few months back

These are the schools IMO likely spend a inordinate and consistent amount more than ND in NIL:

Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, Georgia, Miami

/list

I think Michigan, USC and A&M are up there now
