600lbs was what Weis wanted his OL and DL to squat at ND. Only a handful were able to when he arrived.

Yeah, that’s really good! I remember back when I was competing I was doing sets of 600 and I would blow blood vessels in my eyes all the time. That’s really really good for a high school kid at that weight. Kid is gonna be a freight train. Glad he’s on our side!

The speed and depth. He dropped into the hole so fast and just bounced right back out. So many people fight for 1-2 seconds to recruit the muscle for the drive up. He is going to be something special.
