Younger brother of SC TE Walker Lyons who wanted an ND offer that didn't come so he committed to Stanford and then flipped to SC

Folsom is where Rico played, yeah?
Yes, but he wasn't Rico's QB.

Ryder took over the job this season from the departed Austin Mack, who's now at Washington.

EDIT: Actually, I am incorrect. Ryder was Flores' QB. Mack graduated a whole year early from Folsom.

I assume this means he would also be taking a two-year Mormon mission like his brother?

In 2022 the QB was indeed Austin Mack and the backup was Julian Vasquez.

"I want to hit my top schools this spring or early summer and I know Notre Dame is high on that list,” Lyons explained. "Ian Book was my first quarterback coach when he was in high school so it’s come full circle.”

OH?

I read Sac St is trying to get a Pac invite and have a lot of money being thrown at them.

They are sitting on the largest untapped metro area when it comes to CFB and they are finally waking up.

Isn't Sac State where Cam Skattebo played before transferring to ASU? In today's game, likely not a bad strategy to go somewhere to play right away and develop your craft, especially for a QB who likely sits at USC or ND, etc. Then leverage 1-2 years of kick-ass play to get a sweet NIL transfer package!
