Flanigan's on-field profile of a two-way playmaker at the high school level joins a strong football pedigree and outstanding track and field context. He's flirted with 180 feet in the discus several times (179-7 PR) and recently logged a 58-6.25 shot put PR. That power joins a respectable 11.44 100-meter time considering his size and position projection. All of these data markers suggest a high developmental ceiling for Flanigan. – Brooks

I did gain some insight via that article as to why everyone's crazy about TE Linkin Cure. He ran an 11.05/100 and a 22.35/200.

I could only remember skill position players' 100Ms so I couldn't tell why an 11+ 100M was impressive.

He doesn't do field events. Does 100/200/400/ and both hurdles. I think his 300 hurdle times were 3 seconds off of Meadows best.

He had a nice block on Love's 56 yard TD. He was the second puller and blocked Kyle Louis. Not perfect, but damn good for a freshman taking on a senior, all-american linebacker.

- did Flanigan have a good week of practice and was rewarded?
