Love it, agree that this was destiny. Gonna be hard to discern PA whether its Flanigan or Radigan for the "Irish First Down!"

Green Bay (Wisc.) Notre Dame Academy's James Flanigan, who's committed to the Irish, sits at No. 1 in Wisconsin in the Top247. Flanigan's on-field profile of a two-way playmaker at the high school level joins a strong football pedigree and outstanding track and field context. He's flirted with 180 feet in the discus several times (179-7 PR) and recently logged a 58-6.25 shot put PR. That power joins a respectable 11.44 100-meter time considering his size and position projection. All of these data markers suggest a high developmental ceiling for Flanigan. – Brooks

Discus = 179-7

Shot = 58-6.25

100 = 11.44

I could only remember skill position players' 100Ms so I couldn't tell why an 11+ 100M was impressive.

Not sure I've seen a recruit use that term before.
Like it, whichever way you interpret it.

I am fascinated by the decision to use James Flanigan specifically for this play:

- was it just for fun and they didn’t think it would be a big play?
- did Flanigan have a good week of practice and was rewarded?
- can Washington not pull as fast as Flanigan?
- other?
