Still my favorite WR prospect.
Colzie was a 10.8 100 meter guy and 2nd in the state while Meadows is a hurdler with very good 200 meter speed. Usually go with the faster 100 metersprinter over the hurdler at shorter distances. Should be pretty even thoughComparing reported 40 times from high school, he’s significantly faster. Take that for whatever it’s worth though
I remember when i read that a few years ago i thought colzie would be a stud, he just doesn't play with that speed/athleticism on the football field.Colzie was a 10.8 100 meter guy amd 1nd in the state while Meadows is a hurdler with very good 200 meter speed. Big time want. Megatron level upside.Still my favorite WR prospect.
Him and The Tobias Merriweather Experience will make me give pause before I crown MeadowsI remember when i read that a few years ago i thought colzie would be a stud, he just doesn't play with that speed/athleticism on the football field.
What's happened with Colzie and Merriweather aren't really the same.Him and The Tobias Merriweather Experience will make me give pause before I crown Meadows
I think the Irish illustrated podcast said that Colzie was struggling getting release at the LOS too. What's happened with Colzie and Merriweather aren't really the same.
Colzie came in with much work left to do in terms of receiving mechanics. Good speed and great size, but he was fairly stiff in the hips and needed to develop his route running. The injuries haven't helped him in his development either. Seems like there's always a setback whenever he shows any progress.
With Merriweather, it was all about confidence and him being in his own head way too often. You could tell midway through '23 that he was out of it. He was also tall, fast and fluid as an athlete. He just didn't have it mentally while he was here. Maybe that changes in Berkeley.
We won't know how Meadows develops until he gets on campus and does it.
Still my favorite WR prospect.
The article doesn’t really allude to a single leader but UGA, ND and AL are at the forefront.Who's the perceived leader?

Maybe a few weeks ago but I don't think that this is the case today. I think it's either Georgia or Alabama.
Any idea what happened between then and now?Maybe a few weeks ago but I don't think that this is the case today. I think it's either Georgia or Alabama.
Not sure. What I heard from a podcast today (Locked on Irish) is that his recruitment blew up recently and that the SEC schools have recently been pushing hard to land him. The guest on the podcast (Kevin Sinclair ) also said that he appears to be interested in playing in the SEC.Any idea what happened between then and now?

You can interpret what Sinclair says however you want, but it doesn't sound like he is very optimistic. He has ND sandwiched in between Alabama and Georgia.
That sounds right. In any case, if he doesn't commit, I place the blame squarely on...Del. BTW, I just recently discovered the podcast Locked on Irish and think it's pretty good. Thanks for the link but I don't think you are characterizing Sinclair's take accurately.
Sinclair said, since the beginning of his recruitment, Meadows has been looking to get offers from "the big SEC schools." He mentioned the SEC first but then he also mentioned Clemson. His point was that Meadows has always wanted as many big offers as possible and wants to take visits. He wasn't saying Meadows' goal is to play in the SEC, just that the SEC has big schools he wants offers from and right now Tenn, UG, and UA are pushing hardest for him. Sinclair then made a point to reiterate that he thinks Meadows still has the best relationship with ND's coaches and that Deuce continues to push hard for him so he made it sound like ND still has as good a shot as the other teams he mentioned. He certainly didn't say ND was trailing.
Sinclair was also asked which of the following 4 WR scenarios was most likely: 1) ND gets Meadows only, 2) ND gets Boggs only, 3) ND gets Meadows and Boggs, or 4) ND gets neither Meadows or Boggs. Sinclair said that was a really hard question but thought it was more likely they would get 1 or the other but not both. He also threw in Terry as another WR that could commit but he didn't want to say who of the 3 was most likely because he really didn't know.
So you are probably right that Sinclair wasn't outright optimistic about Meadows and ND but I don't think that means he thinks someone else leads. He seemed to indicate it's anybody's guess right now who leads which probably means we're tied.
Any idea what happened between then and now?
I don't have VIP, but I'm assuming Loy still has ND out front?
Hit a home run and make the last word June 14th or 15thYeah, I'd prefer MF have the last word.
Make the middle the end!Man that’s a hell of a list. Hate being in the middle, but we’ve everything right here going into officials.
