Apartments specifically designed for college housing act like quasi dorms because they rent per bedroom, not apartment. They are not going to leave a room open and miss out on revenue.
My freshman year, 3 of my teammates were in a 4 bedroom of a student apartment complex and they got assigned a random 4th. Trust fund kid who didn’t do shit EVER. Ended up actually stealing from them too. It’s a real thing.

When did that change? 2019 all incoming freshmen lived in dorms. I helped carry Kyle Hamilton’s bags into Knott Hall as part of the Welcome Weekend staff

It was always a thing where well-to-do or middle class plus football players on a full ride would have an apartment off campus that they would actually stay at. A 6’7 300 pound athlete shouldn’t be living in a double in shit alley in Alumni Hall lol. Now that these guys are getting NIL money, why would they stay in a random dorm if they can pay to live somewhere nicer, especially in the summer? I think it’s a stupid hill to die on especially when you consider athlete dorms at competitor colleges

IF it's big deal as his dad plays it, WHY wouldn't JaDon just speak to the coaches about it (Mickens, Ash, Freeman, ...). You can't tell me that MF wouldn't help right the issue at hand. It's not like he wouldn't have some "pull" to get that housing situation rectified.

I'm sure that MF has been made aware of course I could go str8 to the source and see, but knowing him that was the 2nd course of action, or at least someone high up at the university.
