Deuce's recruitment is reminding me more of Peyton Bowen and he knew all along he was going to Oklahoma.

I wonder if Bowen gave Freeman a favor visit for the Clemson game, but after that visit he gave Freeman the bad news that he was going to eventually decommit.

Deuce's commitment seems to be trending towards Auburn. Why wait on the 30th? If he told Freeman this week that he was still coming to ND, why didn't Freeman ask Deuce if he shut it down with Auburn?

I think in deuces mind and nd coaches mind he’s not committed. He still could pick nd so he hasn’t come out and decommitted.

The problem is he hasn’t been committed for months and ND hasn’t prepared until just recently, at least that seems obvious.

Bowen didn't even know where he wanted to go. He flipped to Oregon and tried to come back to ND & staff told him no thanks.

I think a lot of times we ascribe deception or ill intent to 17/18 year olds who are being pulled in different directions by a variety of influential adults with motivations of their own.

“Confused” might be a better status than “committed” at this point. But I think if Deuce has decided he’s not coming to Notre Dame we would know through actions - either his or our staff’s - not smoke signals like his moms beer coozie or some message to Fawcett Hayes.

These are kids...and we all know that kids don't make great decisions. Sadly the adults in play here ALSO don't make great decisions - or the best interest of the kid.

No arguments there. I was correcting the record on Bowen, who wanted to come back after the signing day circus.

Who knows. He could have changed his mind again between Freeman saying yes and him going to find a pen to sign his NLI.

Went Salsas in Granger. Free chips, salsa and better ranch than Hacienda. Place has Hacienda vibes but with actual food that’s edible. Drinks are decent too.
Salsas and Monterey’s were Wednesday night staples for discounted marga

This is the next step, big NIL deals have a contingency they sign on NSD, and schools coming after kids/parents for breach of contract if they decommit
And if you are johnny gangsta show me the money hussle man than fuck off with the I am just a naive kid defense. Act like a celebrity jack ass you and your crew are open to the same ridicule as a Britney Spears nip slip. If this is unfettered capitalism then it is fair to ask Leaky Fawcett why he on his phone all hours with underage boys.

I’d offer Matt Zollers, George Macintyre, or go grab a low 3 star Noah Ehrlich from local Crosn Point
