My guess is he has zero NFL potential and he knows it? Why not get paid for another year of college ball?
Thats my guess or a version of it. Get paid now regardless of draft stock.

A third round pick is getting $6-7 million total for their rookie contract. Not sure where he was "graded" or whatever but I'm assuming the information that he got was that he was not going to be drafted very high. Say he was given a day 3 grade, we are talking about making more money next season playing for Ole Miss than he would get in a few years as a backup project in the NFL.

Honestly, if he was told he would get the starting spot because the other qb was gone, he kinda has a right to be pissed.

Deuce's current situation is his own doing, but I must say, Pete Golding is really starting to come across as a slimy scumbag.

I'm sure there's some master strategy for engagement but the people who spend their days making up realistic-looking fake news about something as fun-but-meaningless as college football... why?

Being told your amazing since 5th grade has two outcomes: confidence and arrogance. One can propel you to heights, the other can trap you in despair.
