If Brohm was still there, probably a different choice.I am more surprised he didn't commit to Purdue to be the guy there.
If ND pushed for a flip I can see him flipping ND.
We said No to him just a few weeks agoAre we gonna try to flip this kid?
No, we said, “Not right now.”We said No to him just a few weeks ago
If we get Robinson or not, yes I think ND should flip him.Are we gonna try to flip this kid?
Ok but what if we go 0 for 3?I forgot if it was ISD or IB but one of the two said (when the Stanford CBs came in a month ago) that if ND went 1 for 3 on Meadows/Robinson/Hines that ND would push to flip Hall and have a good shot at pulling off the flip.
Then hall should wait to see who the next wr coach isOk but what if we go 0 for 3?
The Cooper Perrys phone will be ringingOk but what if we go 0 for 3?
I’d start now.Sooooooooooooooo do we start recruiting him again right now or immediately after Meadows' decision?
He should have already been in this classI’d start now.
Yep.. This is why you don't take MASSIVE reaches early at a position assuming you're going to land a few studs to off set that.He should have already been in this class
Gosh darnit here I am agreeing with you again.Yep.. This is why you don't take MASSIVE reaches early at a position assuming you're going to land a few studs to off set that.
If we go O for between Hines, Meadows, and Robinson (not as high on him but prefer him significantly over our 2 current commits), that's really bad. Other than meadows, hines and robinson weren't even on our initial WR "want" list. All those other ones declined us as well.
This year has as chance to be an epically bad WR and RB class for ND.
Freeman can't keep saying he wants HS recruiting to be the main source of his players, then have 1 out of 3 WR classes be good.
Meadows would go a long ways to righting the ship. Doesn't mean he's a lock to be a stud, but you won't get his potential in the portal.
That class had at least a 5 star Jordan Johnson in it where we had to beat and hold off all the big boys. Now, he turned into an absolute dud (So could meadows), but you actually landed someone that had a chance. Brunelle couldn't get separation in HS, and almost everyone knew/felt Watts was meant to play safety.Gosh darnit here I am agreeing with you again.
The national running back class is bad this year and Anderson had some injuries and maybe is higher upside than we think.
The WR recruiting is Jay Brunell Kendall abdur raman bad

This is the worst offensive class ND has had in quite some time. Every ND class has good OL and TE prospects, so they don’t even save it. And the top QB is a flight risk before he comes to ND and will probably be gone in a year if he doesn’t start.Yep
The RB class is basically the C'bo Flemiester/Jahmir Smith equivalent--just instead of grabbing reaches at the end of the cycle, they for some reason decided to get reaches two years in advance. I believe Deland did not think he'd still be around at ND right now two years ago
WR class, probably has never been a worse one on paper. Maybe like that one class Weis had with Barry Gallup, George West, and Robby Paris?
Agree completely with both.Yep

I can maybe agree with you on Bettis being a reach, but one you know is going to stick and has positional flexibility.Yep.. This is why you don't take MASSIVE reaches early at a position assuming you're going to land a few studs to off set that.

This is worse they had two 4* WRs in that classGosh darnit here I am agreeing with you again.

Not sure if it’s this thread but I do mention I think Burress will be a contributor at wr in his career. I’m still not as high as you with him, but agree he’s at least capable.I can maybe agree with you on Bettis being a reach, but one you know is going to stick and has positional flexibility.
But Burress? Nah. This summer has just cemented that he was seriously overlooked as he balls out in camp. Dude is a straight up stud.
Still, not really understanding the strategy here. Perhaps they're back-channeling names while this is going on and they'll emerge when the smoke clears with Meadows.
Just not enough real news so we try to eat each other. These boards have melted…
You need to try out the ignore button brother. Makes things alot betterIt’s fucking not even over yet you crying bitch. We still have months and an entire season to play. God you are exhausting. Do you have to go into every thread to piss and moan. Do you not have any other options in your life but hanging out on a ND board being all depressed and morose.
