Offered a while back.

Reports 33.75" arms and 10.875" hands.

Great offer list for an OT, especially one who isn't rated by 247... Dohn's snoozin.

His teammate, Ethan Long is probably the most exciting '25 safety prospect for ND at the moment. His teammate last year, Miles Walker signed with Ohio State.

I like that he was recently a "skinny" TE type and hoops.

Get the feeling Rudolph is the leader in the clubhouse for him, Striebig and Byrne. That would be an incredible haul... and very Wiscy like with that length. Needless to say, I approve.

(The camp film was from last summer)

Hopefully 2025 OL recruiting doesn’t turn into 2024 Safety recruiting. But it’s impossible to not be impressed with the early work Rudolph has done so far.

I cannot see this staff pulling a 2020 and messing up OL recruiting. Not in a million years.

Christian McCollum said that he likes ND’s chances to land Augustine better than anyone else in his grill and chill recap. Gotta think him and Strebig are both tackle prospects while Byrne has some guard/tackle flexibility. Looking at his film, it looks like he has to work on his ability to bend (not too surprising for a 6’7 sophomore) but he has a good deal of strength for a relatively thin guy and drives his legs well. I’d imagine he plays Left Tackle for Brunswick next year with Walker now at OSU. Worth noting—Jamie U has three ISD ratings for OLine out:
Strebig: 92
Augustine: 90
Byrne: 89

Do we take an 89 rated kid this early in the process?
I guess it depends on what our staff’s rating is

Kid has racked up offers from Bama, OSU, Florida, PSU, Michigan, A&M, Miami, and Tennessee in the last 2 months. He's a kid you should be ecstatic about getting.

Strebig, Byrne, and Augustine would be a phenomenal top 5 OL class for 2025. All 3 have big time offer lists. Rankings dont matter this early in the cycle.

I'd say yes. After watching his film, I think he's definitely more of a Guard than a Tackle. In the last 2 months he has earned offers from OSU, PSU, A&M, Michigan, and Florida. He'll be getting more offers before the start of the season, IMO.

Any news here? He picked his latest offer from Rutgers last week.

How is ND looking?

Had a great visit but is taking his time. Coming into the weekend I believe Wisconsin was the perceived biggest threat with Michigan a bit behind. ND is absolutely gunning for a 4 man class of Black, Augustine, Strebig, and Lange.
Usually focus on one position group as a fan each cycle. It's been WR for the last couple. 2025 it is OL, without question.

Landing all four of these monsters is really what I'm hoping for most in this class.

Kyle Kelly has mentioned that Augustine and Strebig are extremely close, so Owen possibly committing today certainly won’t hurt here.

I think I'd be OK passing here if we ended up with Black, Lange, and Strebig who are all better tackle prospects IMO.

Yeah, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Augustine is being recruited as a guard.

Edit: Didn't realize Augustine was 6'7". Not sure that translates to IOL.
Depends how well he can bend and move.
