Not sure who his recruiter is cuz that area is usually off limits to ND. Heavy LSU, TAMU, UT, OU deep in those woods.

Young is going to be awesome, Williams too! I think deland isn’t leaving a very good parting gift with the 25 class rb commits though
I sort of get why you're saying that but at this point it's more than just acquiring talent. Make no mistake the '25 RB's are talented just not elite talents at this point, however they are perfect fits and great depth.

Next season the RB room is going to be ridiculous and you can't expect Young and Williams and equal talents at RB's to stay content get little to no touches for seasons. Daniel Anderson for example is probably this classes version of Logan Diggs, whereas he's good at everything but a master of none and in turn I think will be more content early in his career with the very limited touches he will get. However such a player may not electrify with his play he's the type that he will get the job done if given the chance.

Then there is Justin Thurman. At worst he's a valuable speed back specialist and early on in his ND tenure that's what he be as well as being a major player on Special teams I would assume. After a slow start to his JR season he started flashing at the type of player he can become. This off-season and his Senior season is going to show us whether he's a potential star RB or a specialist mismatch piece. Either way he's a fit whether he's the specialist or if he adds to embarrassment of riches as future stud as a main RB.

We are going to miss Deland when he is gone!
No doubt but that's why its so important for these guys hit and to hit big because the payoff is once it becomes the norm then the position can and will recruit itself.

Not to mention the good possibility of all of them will improve in a significant way before they hit the field at ND. This would be especially true for the 2025 crew since they’ve still got another year of high school. Two years of training, growing, learning, etc. will most likely create notable improvements,

Exactly and it allows Deland to really deep dive very early into '26 recruits.

Deland is the one who is very outspoken about wanting to be a HC someday.
He will leave for an OC spot soon, like Lance Taylor did.
He might have one year left at ND, might.
No way he is around after ‘24.

Maybe? A little while back I asked about him with inside knowledge and was told that like Mike Elston is as good as they are as people and position coaches who not only develop, inspire as well as recognize talent but that there skill set isn't suited to be OC/DC calling games. More often than not going the OC/DC route is much more the norm to become a HC and because of that it's going to be a bit harder for him to get a HC job worth taking.

But he will try, because that’s his goal.
So he will leave.
He very well might fail, but that doesn’t matter, because to do so he will still have to leave to find out.
He is actively looking to move up.
He doesn’t want to stay RB coach at ND.

If we have him for the 24’ season we will be lucky.

It's hard to determine who will have the earliest impact & the biggest impact between Aneyas and Kedren. I can convince myself of either one and hope they both become big producers. I was on the early hype train for both of them when they became targets. Love these additions!

Thank you, a 5'10, 220-225lb back will be a really nice compliment next year.

Jadarian and Love run hard, but their feet stop moving at contact in the hole and don't get that extra few yards you sometimes really need. Hope young runs with good power.
