Not too familiar with Ohio HS kids but Is OSU after him or offered yet? I do know they pretty much get the Ohio kids they go after except the occasional HS Catholic school kids that ND steals.

He does not have an offer from OSU yet.

Based on his current rankings, OSU is probably after bigger fish, and feel like they could offer and win this one late if necessary.

Feel that the Youngstown and Cincinnati areas are exceptions for the “automatic” OSU commits. Yes they get their fair share but those 2 areas of Ohio at times feel less Ohio and more Pa and Ky, and kids usually going elsewhere.

I don’t really think Cincinnati is as automatic as Youngstown is, but OSU had a pretty firm grip on Youngstown for quite a long time. I would rank OSU areas like this:

Cleveland
Youngstown
Columbus
Dayton
Cincinnati
Toledo

OSU is going to be hard to beat anywhere in state, but the Catholic League presence in Cincy allows us a foothold there and Michigan has historically done okay in the Toledo area.

Thought ND was going to be a major player but every big program besides Michigan cooled on him quickly despite his talent. Now we have a good idea why… crazy dad

Yea because any coach, dumb ass or not, just picks out the best player and most unselfish team player he has and tells them to get lost.
Ok dad.
