Yes sorry let me elaborate for those that haven't followed it too closely.

Nnamdi Ogboko visited ND for the OSU game and knocked it out of the park, but is mostly locked in with UGA. His main concern with UGA is they keep taking DL commits. He doesn't want to be part of a huge DL class at UGA. With that flip and possibly one more in short order, I'd expect a signing day "surprise" of Ogboko to ND.

Has offers from UF and Michigan as well, and would have many more if he didn't commit to UGA and shut it down. Not just a space filler in the class.

Most of his senior highlights make it impossible to evaluate him due to the quality of the film. His team seems to has two massive defensive tackles (one being Nnamdi) that look v similar from far and w a low quality camera.

Nnamdi is #5.

Do we have those? I thought pretty much the entire board was in agreement that he'd be great to have, but is clearly more of a project than his ranking says
I remember many although it may have been copium. If you look at last few pages of Scott's thread, more than I'd expect.

I'll say this, Scott's film is far better to me. I was always a Scott fan, he was my #1 want for realistic gets that we didn't get. Just watched 2 mins of Scotts again, and this guys, and Scott looks bigger, moved better, and is more violent. There were always questions about his work ethic but those don't show on highlights.

On Nnamdi, I'm not a fan of his film, but it doesn't hurt to take a big body, and there may be more potential given he's Nigerian and probably not played much football. But the athleticism/power was underwhelming to me.

Believe I read that Nnamdi started playing football 2 years ago. I think he's similar to Scott in they are both projects. Neither are starting day 1 and need time to develop. I think Scott's Boom/Bust potential is a bit off the charts, whereas I think Ogboko will probably develop into *at worst* a rotational run stuffer when needed.

Almost everyone was in agreement that Scott was a take, just that he was a project that probably would have taken a few years to polish. I don't recall a single poster not wanting him, just that he was ranked a little high for how much of a project he would be. Ogboko will also be a project and need some polishing
I remember a few not wanting him but I think it was more about his perceived lack of wanting to compete/work hard/character than anything about talent/ability.

Kid that lines up next to him is apparently a 6'2" 300lb FRESHMAN.

Thanks for taking one for the team.
I also had a 5 second dummy spit (over losing a player I never knew we had). Haha. I need a hobby.

He‘s played one year of HS football IIRC.
