What have we seen that makes you think A) we win out B) if we do, that we wont get absolutely blasted in very high profile fashion as per usual?

I'd rather Carr get reps too. Everyone wants to make the playoffs....But Sat showed us, our OL/DL alone will get us murdered. For me, as soon as the ball busting (down here in SEC country) starts to subside, they get waxed again by 30 in the playoffs. No thanks, and 10-2 is a long shot at this point...9-3 would need them to not get tripped up by lower competition and beat FSU, UL, and USC. ND's lines alone won't let that happen.

Exactly if Leonard is QB every game left is gonna be a toss up I bet we lose one of the Army/Navy games

Neither. Just saying those that claim we’re eliminated are wrong. If we win out will be in 100%.

Why would a 1-1 team "invest in the future" and just start having experiments before September 11th?

The "it's July and we can't win the NL East" vibe just doesn't make sense to me. Yet.

I mean, it sounds good on paper. But, you'd lose every senior we have on this team immediately. You're telling them, especially the ones or skipped the draft to "fuck off". It would destroy the locker room in my opinion. Not to mention, you'd have 1 scholarship qb next year (maybe if carr stays).

Crazy how one week and one loss can change the trajectory of an entire program...

Continuing to play leonard in a way that he is ineffective is just banging your head against the wall. He's not a pocket qb, no matter how much you want him to. This is coaching malpractice. I could've coached that team to a win Saturday. And in no way am I being hyperbolic. I wish they play Carr, but I'd settle for anyone else if they're not going to change the offense.

Yeah, you are, because the job to win the game would've started on Monday. If that truly was not happening, as many are accusing it of being, you show up on Saturday and there really isn't shit that could've been done to save that team when they were mentally moved on Purdue by Wednesday.

Throwing a true freshman out there and skipping over at two if not three people on the depth chart does very little good in the short or long term. Again, I think the issues here are going far beyond just Leonard.

We'll come to know more this weekend I guess.

sorry but I haven't accused this game as being anything but extremely winnable. I'm sick of excuses and lack of execution. And then people shrug their shoulders and say "there's nothing anyone could've done." And then the "we need to fix this" bs from Freeman. If this game wasn't winnable Saturday then Freeman should be fired.

I would love to see CJ but I had no delusions there would be a change. At this point I expect him to sit next year too to Angeli, just because when do we get nice things.

You went from "I would have won Saturday" to Freeman should be fired. I understand.

I get the frustration. Notre Dame should beat G5 schools, any time, anywhere, any place. I'm just not going to sit here and make outrageous claims like I invented the question mark and demand people start getting fired.

But it's Monday after a loss. I totally get it.

-Leonard injury on first drive and not replaced
-15 carries for love and price combined the whole game
A power rushing attack in the second half easily wins that game.

You seem to be hung up on one statement. Yes, I absolutely believe I could've done a better job for that game. But if you want to throw out stuff like "outrageous claims, inventing the question mark, and demanding people fired" I'm done with this. Have a good one.
