The opportunity that’s available next year seems to not resonate with a bunch of other WRs on our team, right? What good is playing time if our offense will be a dumpster fire and we won’t be able to showcase him the right way. I’m not saying it definitely will be, but the overall state of our WR room, offense, etc are definitely factors that recruits can and do consider.

Scroll up just a few posts and you’ll see that Cam felt the need to verify that he’s still locked in. Which, we should believe him (why would we not), but the fact that he needed to say it implies that some would reconsider right now.

Let’s not act like this whole situation is obviously a net positive for recruiting just because of the opportunity to start day 1 lol.

It's so hard for freshmen to hit big but man.....I'm with you. His athleticism is unique and could add another dimension for Denbrock.

Whatever short and long term goals Denbrock and Brown have for him should be interesting. If a true freshman is going to be the guy being relied upon to be the gamebreaker, we'd obviously be discussing a very talented individual. The program just went into the portal to grab two receivers for 2024.

Thomas, Colzie, Greathouse, Faison, Collins and Mitchell appear to be the core for now. If he can take legit reps from any of them, pedal to the medal.
