This is a well connected fan account. OSU has opened it up to fans? Cause whatever they're doing seems to have flown past FU ND.

I still don't know why ND fans can't contribute. If 100k ND fans made just 1 payment of $20 that would be $2 Million in additional NIL money. I think that's very conservative and ND could add an additional $5 Million or so every year.

Just our commitment to being 5 yrs behind the elite.

Can Overton (who transferred to Bama before Saban quit) transfer again? He belongs somewhere like OSU or Georgia.

So if Sayin ends up transferring to OSU, does Will Howard once again hit the market? Poor guy felt Moss kicking ass in bowl game pushed him away from USC and now he may feel pushed out at OSU.

I have no information on this, obviously, but my opinion would be too much at stake (too much money spent) to start Sayin. Most likely brought in with some assurances he’s the guy in 2025.

everybody can transfer as many times as they want. Its a wonderful world.

Unless the NCAA actually goes to court and wins, which nobody seems to think is likely.

If he ends up at OSU then Air Noland probably ain’t sticking around is he either?

Sayin is freshman and probably wasn't going to play no matter where he went.
That's like saying Leonard should transfer because of Carr.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me. Air Noland is a really good player. Why would OSU take someone in the same class as him, knowing it all but guarantees that Noland transfers?

Because Ryan Day needs all the good vibes he can get from the fan base and these portal wins are a quick dopamine hit.

Probably gonna start seeing some of these coaches forced into doing annual donation drives ala Jerry Lewis and March of Dimes any minute now.
Finebaum hosting the Bama fundraiser for sure.

Does Sayin want to wait until 2025? He already waited a year at Bama, if he were to wait another year would that make him hit the portal next year?

Disgusting... NCAA needs a salary cap.
I actually don’t care about this. I think Noland has more potential and only one QB can play. Likely scenario is they lose Brown and the other kid by spring and have two true freshmen backups next season before losing one of them next year. This is poor roster management.

Buckeyes are wasting money on *someone* here.

I was referring to their spending with everyone that they landed in the portal... Judkins & Downs mainly. Not sure it will happen, but I hope this all blows up in their faces as its National Title or bust this year for the Buckeyes.

The core issue is the schools themselves take on all the football risk and have zero contractual protection. The collectives risk some cash, and the athlete risks almost nothing. The athletes need some sort of skin in the game. Otherwise, you’ll just continue to see the blue bloods raiding each others rosters. It’s merely pay-for-play now…free agency with no cap.The whole idea of using an athlete's name/image/likeness in exchange for compensation is basically non-existent.

I know that no rules are being broken as it currently stands, but it’s hilarious how everyone is just pretending that these athletes’ NIL bring any actual value to the collectives giving them money. I wish we’d all just stop pretending.
