Doesn't sound like he met with Freeman while he was in town, surprisingly. Does the staff not view him as a priority?
Genuine question because this is so far from where I'm at and I think most people are with this recruitment. Has there been something you've read that states ND is the leader? If so, when was the last time you read that? That doesn't square with what I've read.
Christian said the visit went very well, got the folks on campus, Washington is a major factor in this recruitment. His flight came in late, which is why he never got a chance to meet with MF.
The wording however, was odd, "Coach Wash is really what keeps them in contention with me."
Christian thinks it was odd too, but he also thinks he's underselling his interest.
I'm not convinced ND isn't the leader at this point, but this looks like it may drag on longer than anticipated, so...concern is warranted.
ND seems to be the constant in all this, and Washington has been a major factor in his recruitment. He's visited twice already.Genuine question because this is so far from where I'm at and I think most people are with this recruitment. All that seems to be working in ND's favor.
I also don't think Loy is correct in saying he won't visit ND again prior to making a decision. I'm hearing this is the last group of unofficials before he cuts the list of teams down and then he'll schedule officials. So unless he doesn't plan on using an official for ND, I don't see how that happens.
I'm more optimistic than most on this one, but based on what I've read, ND is in a good place. But like I said, this looks like it'll go on for a while. We've been here before, where I've felt good about a guy in April and then things fade in May/June. Lindsey wouldn't be the first, nor the last.
“This was probably my last time visiting campus before making my decision. I have to see some others.”
That isn't what ISD is reporting.I think you're too caught up in the ND bubble. Not enough national recruiting exposure. He's in the thick of it with many other schools.
He told Loy this.
Loy cannot be wrong here as it was not an opinion.
He's also already scheduled two OV's and is in the process of scheduling others, just not one to ND.
Lindsey will make additional visits this spring before coming out with his Top 10 and eventually scheduling official visits.
It's a literal quote from TJ himself, lol. That isn't what ISD is reporting.
This was reported yesterday after the visit:
Sean gonna sean hahaIt's a literal quote from TJ himself, lol.
But, it's just not worth it. Rarely ever is.

What you posted is not a quote that TJ gave ISD. And, I'm sure ISD would appreciate you not passing it off as such.I mean, that was taken from their interview with TJ himself. lol.
Why would ISD post it if it wasn't factual? What you posted is not a quote that TJ gave ISD. And, I'm sure ISD would appreciate you not passing it off as such.
2024 Arkansas defensive lineman TJ Lindsey had plenty of positive things to say about the visit, but would not commit to returning for an official visit or even Notre Dame surviving his next cut.
Sources say Lindsey has been a little understated throughout his recruitment both with the media and coaches. Still, he has committed to take officials to some schools (Texas and Texas A&M) and/or said he “probably” would take officials to others (Auburn and Oregon), there’s at least some reason to be concerned.
Lindsey will wrap up his spring unofficials soon before mapping out his official visit
And TJ himself said to Loy, he's likely not going to visit ND again before he makes a decision. It's in the interview.
But, yes, you are still not convinced that ND isn't the leader.
ISD and On3 are posting about the same thing. Strange interviews, but the next step after his visits will be cutting down the list.
Nothing about him not taking any more visits to South Bend, official or not.
So as of now, he has 2 visits scheduled. It says he hasn't committed to other OVs, but they are possible. That's not the same as him not visiting ND again prior to deciding. Could happen, but as of now, that isn't what's been reported.![]()
Notre Dame Blue-Gold Weekend | Recruiting Wrap-Up
The Irish crushed another home visit weekend. We take a look at exactly how with this wrap-up, focusing on some of the top uncommitted 2024 targets like OL Styles Prescod.irishsportsdaily.com
Here's the article and here's the full snippet on Lindsey.
Two OV's scheduled plus other visit to go. None to ND.
It's really bizarre how much the vibe on this has changed.Singer is not getting a good vibe from Lindsey. Lindsey had always been pretty pumped to talk ND with Singer in the past. Per Singers words, its as if ND is the talk to be a potential school in his Top 10, and not near the top.
More SEC vibes coming from Singer.

In one interview, he was unwilling to comment "on the record" about returning for a visit or ND even making the cut. That's the take away from ISD's update. He has some scheduled and is scheduling others with no mention of ND.So as of now, he has 2 visits scheduled. It says he hasn't committed to other OVs, but they are possible.
