I think he will stick. He loves Freeman. This one could be the "Freeman Factor."

Thankfully he is a Safety... if he was a QB, WR or RB, I would be more nervous due to NIL deal money.

4. S Peyton Bowen – Notre Dame

As we noted after the morning session, the safeties were the most talented position group on hand at Future 50. Peyton Bowen stood out as the top performer – and top overall prospect – in that group. The Notre Dame pledge showed a complete skill set at the position, pairing top notch athleticism with refined cover skills. We typically saw Bowen in phase in 1-on-1’s and 7-on-7. He flashed the long speed at the end of the morning session, finished second in the fastest man competition. The 6-foot, 185-pounder also made an impact in the afternoon, jumping a route to pick off Jackson Arnold on a PAT attempt, that would’ve likely gone for a 98 yard pick-six. Bowen is one of the top back seven defenders in high school football on Friday nights at Denton (Texas) Guyer and looked the part in this elite camp setting, as well.

remember guys and gals that Kyle Hamilton'ns girlfriend went to South Carolina for school and so not all players follow girlfriends to the same school. i only know this because he talked in one of the inside the garage podcasts about going to her school last fall to see her during the bye week

Like kind of says rightish thing but seemed like the interviewer was desperately guiding him into saying rightish things but certainly wasnt the smiling embrace of it we see in other commits videos

Going full court press on Eli (maybe they are) probably wouldn’t hurt things here. He’s one they should go after aside from P anyway.

On3 has been gushing about his Future 50 performance and the 247 guys covering the event didn’t have a single thing to say about him in their top performers type articles. Odd.

On3 basically had it as Guyer production + dominate in camp setting + 4.4 40 = Bowen going up

Yeah, ND needs to recruit him like he's uncommitted. They need to recruit parents, brother, gf - pullout all the stops.

To be fair, if he's a five star, there probably aren't many guys ND likes more than him.

If he's a three star, there are probably guys they can get, who are better, to take his slot.

I was speaking rhetorically. I'm sure Freeman and Co are already doing this - just spelling it out and reiterating the plan.

With that said, I'm curious how long ago Kelly and Co would have lost Peyton (assuming they actually even got him in the first place).

Pretty much what I’ve heard from unbiased people (so not the Gug), is that the biggest problem right now is Jackson Arnold basically stalking Peyton Bowen.
Bowen is too nice to tell people no and since Arnold and him are close, it’s a constant barrage daily.

Honestly, someone in the Bowen camp needs to step in and tell Arnold that if he really is Bowen’s friend, stop pestering him, he is committed somewhere. Bowen isn’t badgering Arnold to flip to ND. So leave it be. Peyton isn’t going to tell him.

Arnold hasn’t visited ND like 5 times.

I do think it’s odd to publicly do this depending on their level of friendship, but c’mon they aren’t the same. He’s visited OU with Jackson multiple times.

Publicly is the problem.
Bowen is committed.
Arnold shouldn’t be publicly trying to flip him over social media.
He can visit OU 200 times. But if he is publicly committed, and says so, then leave it be.
It’s not Arnold’s place.
