It’s really important, in my opinion, that we have a qb that is not only mobile but can run. Just another thing that defenses have to account for. I don’t think Angeli is that guy.

Parker is this bad now, imagine how we will look with a first year starting QB 😯
Not only that, but they could potentially be wasting any good receivers who are actually on the outside.

Maybe I have too much faith in this freshman class of WR, but I really do think they have something here with what is now a quartet with Faison.

Yeah, no clue how you can be confident in this years class without seeing Smith or James really yet. Rico has shown he's about as slow as you get for a WR, greathouse I think can be good but his injury clearly hurt his development. Rico and Greathouse should both be in the slot, but no way in heck you're playing them over Faison, let alone tyree.

I get Rico isn't a burner but "as so as you can get" ??? Come on now. Did you watch the 60 yard reception against Pitt or the 35 against Clemson? He was moving on both those receptions. He isn't the fastest but he isn't as slow as you can get.

I realize you phish for reactions and I already regret taking your bait.

Cam Williams has impact written all over him. He brings a different level of talent and vibe than Colzie, Merriweather, and James imo. I still think James will be good, but Cam is more legit than all of them.

I did, and i watched him get caught from behind very easily. Don't be fooled by how hard it looks like he's running as being fast. There's no doubt he's out slowest WR including Thomas/Colzie.

James physically looks the part, and runs better routes than Tobias (in warmups at least), but he still drops a good bit of passes in warmups. I noticed that a good bit at duke and at Clemson.

PutUp undervalues Rico's strength and that he can be a bull in YAC, but definitely not an outside WR or break away guys (hopping into PutUp account now)
ha... I think that only works if you have two electric outside WRs allowing him to work the middle vs zone/lbs/safeties etc.

If tyree comes back, the slot has to be Tyree and Faison, if tyree doesn't come back, then maybe rico is back up slot, and back up boundary WR. No way Faison isn't playing slot over Rico (or anyone on our roster next year).
