Pitt lovers need to tell me where to bar hop next time and maybe I'll get the chance to give it another try.

Ranking the Midwest/Ohio Valley, here’s my personal thoughts. Chicago doesn’t count, as I’d rank it first every time.

Louisville
Pittsburgh
Milwaukee
Cincinnati
Columbus
Detroit
Cleveland

Been to Louisville once and outside of the track I thought it was a pretty overrated city TBH.

Where’s Indy? Milwaukee would be my number 1 of the listed. I also consider MN Midwestern and I rank the Twin Cities ahead of Chicago fwiw, but that’s purely my home state bias

Twin Cities is super cool. If I ever left Boston it’d probably be my first choice of cities to move to.

I’d also throw St. Louis on this list. Fun town and not just b/c I lived there for a decade. Lived in Indy for a little bit as well. Meh.

Would switch Columbus and Louisville but otherwise agree

Don't you dare lump St Paul in with that shit hole across the river.

I assume he’s referring to Lincoln Riley, but didn’t he accuse ND of something too?

Blow this Tweet up. We need this kid. And I want to see Narduzzi have a stroke. Twitter has warned that it contains sensitive content. Apparently not settling well with Pitt fans.

Well that’s what they get for ever letting Dave Wanstedt get away

Don’t tweet recruits, it’s weird as hell man

Liking is what I am referring to. So 700 people that liked his tweet are weird? LThey post that shit so people will like it. That’s their sole intent. Nobody said to tweet at him. I agree, tweeting kids is a bit weird. Liking the post is not. I think you misinterpreted my point. If not, you’re on the outside looking in so maybe you’re the weird one.

Thats what I thought too, Minchey has a stronger arm but Moore has a quicker release.

It’s like Fruit Loops vs Great Value Fruit Rings. One isn’t as heralded, maybe not as refined, but pound for pound they still both have that same flavor.

I think if you like what Moore offers, Minchey has quite a few of those same qualities, and like others have said—maybe more natural arm talent. He just lacks a couple inches (in height) and the national pedigree.

I said it on another thread, but if we could go back before the ‘23 class really got rolling and we would take a high upside, high arm talent 4star in ‘23 and possibly the top QB in ‘24–who would’ve been upset at that?

Get this kid and let’s go.

Also, PJP II is in the Nashville metro area. They play a very solid schedule, including Independence and Knox Catholic, among others.

Interesting take. So if this is denial, which stage is acceptance?

I still like Dante better, but they have similar skill sets. They can prolong plays outside of the pocket but they continue to look downfield and are pass first guys. They can both make the quick throws and fit balls into tight windows.

My only thing about Minchey is he completed a lot of heavily contested deep throws. They were dimes of throws but I saw at least a couple that seemed to go over the top of some triple coverage and it's great that he's confident enough to do that against his competition now, but I doubt he's going to get chances like that as he moves up.

It's funny to me that anyone has concern about Minchey's height when we were ready to take Moore who is certainly shorter.

I also for some reason doubt that this will be some kind of easy flip, but I do think we can pull it off.

Moore certainly shorter? Idk about that. It's a push at best

I’m still thinking this is kinda funny as there hasn’t been even a whisper of mutual interest on his part.

Minchey is definitely shorter than Moore but not by much. Same with Moore versus Sayin. I never really got why Moore’s height never had any critique whereas Sayin got it all the time. Talking 6’1 vs 6’2 in both discussions IMO

I know he hasn't said anything, but isn't the fact that he put on Twitter that he got an offer (from what I've read, the only offer he's posted about) something?

He's not going to publicly say he's interested and piss off Narduzzi. That guy is crazy.
