I too was hopeful he might be able to play OT. Because without him at OT, they signed 2 OT’s in the last 2 cycles. And one of those guys, Jagusah, some think is better at OG as well.

Losing Paige and not adding another OT prospect could be costly. We’ll have to see.

Did it say what his wingspan was?

Zach Martin at the Combine measured 6'4 1/4 but had a 77.5" wingspan and was a great college LT. I know he was the quintessential overachiever at the position but IIRC he came out of high school with less fanfare than Absher.

A quick google says that's the same as Zach Martin's at the combine.

So I wouldn't bet on it but there's always a chance he could play OT if he's quick enough

Absolutely, he may never be a tackle but it won't be because of his size.

Length is good, but the ability to Dance and Settle-PUNCH off the dance is even better in college.
THAT is what ZMart was the best in the nation at (and still is.) That means you stay face-up to the
opponent square and don't have to hold outside the body. (watch the Cowboy films.)

No one knows yet what we've got, but we shouldn't make too many shallow assumptions about who
can be a tackle or not based on some simple measurements. I'm guessing that Coach Harry can turn
several of these guys into really good college tackles.
