Still saddened that we didn't get to see him in one more meaningful game in an ND uniform. That run against Penn State should be on loop for eternity in the practice facility with the words: STRENGTH, HEART, DESIRE written above it.

ND was really good for Love, Love was great for ND.

That 98 yd run against Indiana is one of my best memories being at an ND football game (first game was MSU ‘09 where Tate dove into the band) and there have been some great moments between then and now.

We were sitting in the east side of the north end zone and got an incredible view of the play develop. I started celebrating the TD when he was at ND’s 25 yard line.

Nothing can beat the PSU run because of everything involved: semis, bum leg, breaking through so many tackles. But the 98 yarder on a bum knee against the #1 rushing defense, yeah I'm putting that over the hurdles for myself.

The 98 yarder against IU was great because it just confirmed the possibilities, but the TD against PSU has to be number one. Fighting for that TD against four or five guys while regaining your balance. More than impressive. Imagine what those PSU players were thinking after that?

I absolutely love watching that play in slow motion. It might be the best run I’ve ever seen.

The Penn St. run is my all time fav play, period. The play slowed down is art, a picture story even.

That said, this play shows so much of what makes him a special player.

If the announcers weren’t so busy talking about why ND should be left out of the playoff at the end of the Stanford game, they could’ve said something then without a jinx.

ND legend on and off the field- the many highlights, hurdles, spins, and heart signs after touchdown's. Also off the field such a humble young man. Thank you for 3 great years at Notre Dame.

I am going to miss hearing this after his touchdown's at Notre Dame stadium:
