He fits the narcissistic stereotype of lawyers as well!He might be a lawyer because he is playing this like these represent billable hours!
Easy nowHe fits the narcissistic stereotype of lawyers as well!
No offense to any other lawyers here, I'm strictly talking about the person who claims to be an expert about damn near everything and refuses to admit he's wrong.Easy now
Do you just automatically talk out of your ass like you're all knowing because you're giving off serious autistic fuck vibesI don’t remember talks of Hobbs like that, there were talks of Cree Thomas being the next great one.
I don’t think Hobbs just got completely benched due to poor play. I would bet something happened after the a&M game non play related that got him in freeman’s dog house. Just a hunch.

When you think everyone else is an asshole.................You think not being able to play at all, out for the game, on november 8th, then on november 10th not even being on the injury report is "healing physical injuries"? "C'mon Man"
And I'm Charles Woodson
Did your Modhood come w a Ban Hammer? Asking for a friend. When you think everyone else is an asshole.................
Most mocks have him going anywhere between 5th/6th, I think scouts have seen him look like he belongs as high as a late 3rd/4th Rd pick and also have seen him play like an UDFA. Consistency and cleaning up the concentration lapses/choppy feet mechanics would go along way in assuring him of being at least a 4th/5th Rd guy at the next level.15 months ago many, maybe even you were discussing him as a potential first rounder. now it’s “he may make an nfl roster one day IF he’s healthy”. Hmmmm
He’s so far from an extremely good college player. He’s an average P4 corner at best when he’s at his best.
I had no problem with gray with effort until usc 25, he flat out gave up effort and focus wise that night. Banged up or not, no excuse. At least in 2024 he was battling but just getting beat. This year, His injuries were so bad he miraculously went from not being able to play on Nov 8th, to not even being on an injury report nov 10th!!! It’s so obvious they wanted to mentally re set him. Because, even though he’s not great, he’s better than Zackery and Hobbs and ND needs him to be serviceable.
Agreed, and absolutely the Safety play against A&M was atrocious for large parts of the game. There is so much nuance in coverage like he plays the field of course he is going to have more help he has more area to cover. Yesterday they mixed in a good amount of zone. Is that to help Gray or to confuse the pitt QB which it did. They baited that QB into so many throws and Gray had a really really good game. He has had problems against the elite of the elite on OSU USC and a&m and a&m was a lot of bad safety and nickel play more so than him
He's obviously NOT going pro after this year. He's going to need to improve significantly on his footwork and hips/change of direction, because they are not good on film. I don't think he can fix his lack of make up speed so whenever he tests at pro day his 40 and shuttle will be big for his chance of being drafted. He does show good instincts and has really good length. Most mocks have him going anywhere between 5th/6th, I think scouts have seen him look like he belongs as high as a late 3rd/4th Rd pick and also have seen him play like an UDFA. He's going to need to make some big gains this off season or Adams could start getting major reps if he's what we all think he can be. I expect Adams to jump Zackery pretty quickly. Looks like they're keeping Cre at boundary. He looks the part.
Those mocks I've seen were for '27, I don't think he would even think about coming out after this year especially after dealing with the nagging ailments. I'm interested to see what he runs because the 40s he has on paper are pretty solid from HS and from camps (4.45-4.55 range). He just has a lot of cleanup to do with his footwork, I think he's been limited with change of direction moreso due to an injury. He's obviously NOT going pro after this year. and even Moore took a week or 2 off for injuryIt's almost like he was hurt and needed some time to rest and get healthy. Too many people have unrealistic expectations for him because of our cb1
Haven’t seen anything from the beat writers regarding Gray’s status for next year. Anyone know anything?

The best path forward is to come back and be one of our starting corners next year. Try to stay healthy and improve his technique. Why would he leave? He's not an early-round draft pick. And it's hard to imagine a better situation in college.I’ll try to be fair. His draft stock plummeted end of last year and this year, that’s a fact. Imo, his camp is probably trying to figure out best path forward for nil in 26 and path to nfl. In reality, the 2nd corner spot is his to lose going into 26. He has absolutely no competition this past year. Zackery will not be competition next year but Cree could be, pouncey and Adam’s could be. I’m sure nd wants him back, but he probably realizes he could lose snaps if his play doesn’t significantly improve.

TBH he's probably a 7th round pick and that's assuming he has a good combine. The best path forward is to come back and be one of our starting corners next year.
