Two things can be true at once. Several liked that post. Zachary was rated higher in that game than Grey has been all year.

Zachary played an excellent game. Why can’t he be an option. Saw an article touting his performance and high score at the position.

It’s not ideal but it happens. I personally think it’s this …. If you’re not going to give 100% when you’re not 100% then you won’t be able to play unless you’re completely healthy.
Leonard Moore gave 100% on a high ankle sprain then sat the next 3 games as he was really injured. I’m sure gray is banged up, but again, you gotta bring it, he didn’t a lot of plays.

Feels like price has been benched mid game twice for fumbling inside the 5.

My educated guess from seeing this before is they’re trying to get him a good reset mentally and I’m sure physically too.

I feel that grey comes across cocky so he doesn’t show or act like he is sucking.

Great. My post had nothing to do with performance and was entirely related to the implication of Freeman lying to cover up benching a player for effort.

Grey, Zachary, Davonte. Is the misspelling of every player just a schtick?

When I played ball, the misspelling of another player's name was considered a deliberate insult.

I still read it that way (especially when there is never an apology.)

We gonna skirt over the fact that we played a fair amount of 4-3 yesterday? I can’t remember the last time I saw that many linebackers out there. Also, Smith and Stroman have not been stellar against pass or run. Both disappointing to this point.

Regarding Gray, I don’t think it’s an effort thing. He is battling. Probably just dinged up and hopefully getting healthy. Not the same as Hobbs getting straight benched. Which is also concerning as the quotes from the secondary in the spring were talking about Hobbs being better than BenMo and Lenny by the end of it. There is still time 🤞🏽

I don’t remember talks of Hobbs like that, there were talks of Cree Thomas being the next great one.

I don’t think Hobbs just got completely benched due to poor play. I would bet something happened after the a&M game non play related that got him in freeman’s dog house. Just a hunch.

@PutuporShutup Do you still personally believe Gray was benched due to effort?
