What do you do for salsa? I can make bomb pico and guacamole, but my salsa always winds up watery.
Idk what everyone else would suggest, but my trick is to use a little tomato paste as a “binder.” Thickness, imo, is more of a preference. I prefer my salsa like my women…a little looser.

Haha. I used to go there all the time. I think the guys name was Chris or something. He and his dad maybe. This thread is far more enjoyable now. I’d love to see the thread title changed to “Dante Moore/Food Talk”.
I was going to post a picture the Backer or Corby's but I figured I'd post something a little less well-known, I figured alumni or ND frequent visitors would've picked up on it haha. That's cool you've been there, I've never actually set foot in Armando's, I just pass it every time when I'm heading to campus to tailgate at the Ivy Court off of Twyckenham

Speaking of #1. I ordered a Big Mac meal at McDonalds for the first time in about 10 years. The sandwich seemed like it shrunk. I eat it in like 4 bites.

I loaded up on jalapeños yesterday. I like to make my own hot sauce. I use mangos in it. Although, I was corrected once and told it’s technically salsa. But I purée it in the vitamix so it’s watery sort of like hot sauce. Not quite as watery as hot sauce, with a slightly thicker consistency, but pours out. But I don’t strain it. I water it down usually with vinegar. So, is this hot sauce or salsa? It’s pretty damn good. Everyone that tries it wants me to give them some. I use it on everything from tacos, to eggs, to dipping tortillas. I’m guessing this is salsa, but it’s sort of an in between. I’ve used a wide variety of hot peppers.

My absolute favorite that I’ve made is… apple cider vinegar, ghost pepper, mango, chili pepper, pineapple juice, garlic, onion, sea salt

Can I switch gears and let you all know that Costco carries an organic brand of chicken nuggets that are a straight 100% copy of Chick-fil-A's nuggets?

For those of you with children that like Chick-Fil-A, it's a game changer.

If your not sure if it is hot sauce or salsa consistency wise then my friend you got yourself a picante sauce
