We have 23 commits and the best class ND has fielded since 2008 and maybe of the internet era. You did this take last week when they then went on to get 4 commits in 4 days. Sampson was the “easy” 5 star he was always going to get by going to LSU. I’m pretty surprised they got Jalen Brown though, don’t know how LSU pulled that off.

Call it what you will. Edwards is a good looking player he is very quick and we need that speed.

Ausberry is a good LB prospect as well. This is one area that we have some depth.

Minch is a project I think. Great speed as well but we have all seen in Lenzy that speed isn’t all that unless you can do something with it. I think he will be a great special teams player (which we need) but I am not sure about Safety.

And yes I agree that this will probably end up being our best class. But we have had these type players that Loy apparently is say we couldn’t close. How is BC beating us out for him when it’s been said for most of this recruitment this was ND?

I am guilty for taking the paid sites word to much too. They have been off a lot here recently.

No sane prospect chooses BC over ND all else being equal. I think you can certainly criticize some of the misses that last month or so, but we don’t have a staff that can close while we sit on the the largest current pile of blue chip commits in college football is just a ridiculous statement

LSU has always had great receivers. Great receivers, Great DL and subpar OL. Louisiana just churns out those great WRs

Something seemed to shift in this recruitment a little while back, around the time of the big OV weekend, Dante fading away, and all the other WR commits. I assume was some combo of the latter two things, and maybe a tighter bond with the Clemson folks.

AJ Dillon picked BC over us and it worked out for him. Maybe he’s just hell-bent on playing WR (like Dillon at RB) and isn’t quite sure that’s a guarantee here.
