Here he is taking a lick.

This was his first carry of the game. Bounced back nicely.

Like watching Tavon Austin HS highlights. kid is a human joy stick. NFL upside is limited bc of the size but I’ll be surprised if he’s not a super productive college player.

BTW... His 180+ yards woulda been 260 if this 80 yarder hadn't been called back.

I see 0 Reggie. He’s way smaller. Reminds me of Jaquizz Rodgers.

I have a feeling he plays for in the slot than RB, we will have a loaded depth chart next year at RB especially considering Chris Tyree will have another year and Jadarian Price is gonna be a stud as well.

Absolutely. He'll be a poor man's Rocket overall. Could gain more APY's than Rocket but Rocket was limited in Lou's offense. Rocket woulda been a 1000/1000 guy in a mediocre modern offense.

You don’t think he ll be limited in Rees’ offense too???? Idk if I’m beating a dead horse here, but it terrifies me to think about allllllll the speed and talent we have coming in next year (and beyond hopefully), being wasteddddd on a Tommy Rees system

I don't want to call him a diamond in the rough of this class, but if college translates well for him he is going to have a successful career at ND. This is a nice pickup for the this class.

If ND lands Love and with Limar it will be interesting to see how each fits into the offense. Love seems to be a versatile back- a better Theo Riddick, Edwards seems to be a true RB- a Kyren Williams type of back, and Limar a backup??

Eeee NO. Edwards is not a true RB. I think he will actually spend more time in the slot and catching balls out of the backfield then he will lining up in the backfield and running the ball. I think Limar and Love are the all-round RB’s and Edwards will be on the field at the same time. IE Edwards in the slot or running the two RB sets we have seen the past few games.

the guys on espn gameday were just talking about our matchup with BYU and they were talking how we have no playmakers at WR and i was thinking about how that won't be an issue going forward if some of our verbals like this kid live up to the hype
