Visiting tomorrow for Michigan. Will get offered soon if not tomorrow. Should be visiting with his teammate, '21 DT/OL Rocco Spindler.

Opened as the #2 overall player in 247's first 2021 Ranking

Played both varsity football and basketball. Started at RG for the state champion in their class. Basketball team was also a state finalist.

Older brother Matt Jr played LB at Kent State,

His dad Matt Sr was a 6-7 Indiana All-Star when he played at Fort Wayne Wayne. He played in college at Cleveland State and then Towson St.

the only teniable connection to either program is that the DB coach at MSU, Paul Hayes coached Garrett's older brother at Kent State where he was the LB coach.

Ehh, he lives less than an hour from campus. Wouldn't you go to those games over the ND options too? The only thing close would have been Wiscy or Pitt and I'm sure as a white lineman he's got some level of interest in White Boy U instead of Pitt.

Now if he flies to Rutgers to watch the skunks over coming to the FSU game, we've got a problem Houston.
