Post #57:
"I guess if I was so confident in something, I’d want to make some money from it."

To me that seems that you are more confident than not, especially if you want to make money on odds of a 17 yr. old kid. Do we have to discuss odds on your own confidence now? If so no further response on my end.

We made his top 6. Great, fantastic, awesome, would love him to commit to ND. He has camped here like NDCrusader and yourself have said- how many have camped at ND and not committed?

My choice of word of "never" a chance probably shouldn't have been used because we obviously have a 6/1 chance. Do I think he commits- NO. Would love to land both he and Colzie, but I don't see it happening. If I am wrong, great, I hope I am wrong.

Bingo. Took us awhile to get there but this sums it up. That’s not how the odds would work but we still got there.

Loy gave up and threw a 6 for Oregon.

Oregon guy did the same last night.

Christian Lewis needs to feel Shipley heat.

If the decision really isn't until January, I don't think it's time to get all worked up over CBs.

With his top 6 announcement he stuck to his January commitment timeframe with expected visits to all of his top schools before decision. We’ll see if he changes that plan.

I thought the no-visits was extended through June now? Or am I thinking of something else?

you are correct, dead period goes thru June now. Confusing to me because NCAA has subsequently allowed "voluntary" on campus workouts starting June 8th.

Troy Franklin committed to Oregon.

To me Oregon is the team to beat here. Does this help ND?

Oregon is putting together a good class.

Everyone thinks Oregon is the team to beat at the present. It probably comes down to visits to see if anyone can change that.

So timely. True story, I had a dream, last night, that I woke up this morning and Dont'e had committed to ND. Here's to hoping I have deja vu in the future.

It would be really nice to pull a rabbit out of hat here, but I doubt it. Still see him as a Duck. He and Franklin would be crazy good bookends.

I agree with you. I think Oregon is the team to beat and ND is 2nd.

Didn't he camp at ND a couple of years ago?

Not sure. I checked his 247 timeline, and nothing there for ND except the offer in Sep19. Wouldn't surprise me though.

all 11 CBs are Oregon. All from May/June though.

I also don't think he comes here, but his interview on 247 makes me have a small glimmer of hope:

But with no traditional visits allowed -- prospects can visit campuses but cannot have contact with coaches while on campus -- it forced Thornton to take a different approach to his recruitment, and it involved watching some games.

"If you think about it, you can take a lot (out of watching)," Thornton said. "At the same time, I can watch how defenses play for college, so if I actually want to go to one of the schools I am watching now, I can see how a defense will play against them."

The only teams in his top 6 he can watch are FSU, Virginia, and ND...

I mean, he could be watching last year's games for the Pac12 teams and I'm just wishfully hoping over here.

Driskell threw his typical hissy fit on the Twitter machine

I honestly have no idea why I still follow him. Always late to stories, nothing new ect.
