Somewhat similar to KAR as he plays primarily QB in HS but this time he’s being recruited to play CB.

I saw he was committed but never saw or heard about his de-commit. Watched his film, pretty athletic, just small.

There was some problems with the relationship from the get go. He committed but told Fleck he was going to still look around. He admitted Fleck didn't like it but said ok in a story I remember reading. (Why do recruits do this?) Anyways, When the decommit happened, it wasn't in a Dear John/Respek my decision tweet. It just got slowly leaked over time and in interviews. So read into that as you wish.

The reason I remotely followed him is I used to live in that area and one of my good friends/neighbor was an FCS TE who played at Bolingbrook and now coaches HS and 7v7 in the area. He told me about Jackson when he was still at Bolingbrook and played some varsity QB as a freshmen. He's part of this group of local guys that have ND connections: Justin Walters, CB Malik Rainey, WR/ATH Reggie Fluerima Jr, LB Terry McClaurin and he seems to be tight with RB Markeise Irving who has all the B1G offers minus OSU, S. Carolina, TCU and most importantly, Duke.

He was a local Pop Warner star and has always been a QB until he left Bolingbrook for Naperville Central. But his first year there (2018/Soph season) MSU's Payton Thorne was the QB so he played WR and was the #2 QB. He had a very good season with 47 rec - 875 yds and 14 TD's. So there's plenty of athleticism here but full disclosure, ran a 4.65/40 at last years Opening Regional so not a guaranteed blazer but Julian Love was a mid 4.6 guy too in HS right?

Was looking forward to seeing him in 7v7 action to get a look at him at DB. But scratch that.

Jalen Elliot was a solid player and he runs a 4.8. So comparatively 4.65 for a high schooler is blazing.

He just ran a 4.5 at ND's pro day.

4.65 isn't blazing for a future ND CB who's only 5-10.5

He went live yesterday on his Instagram last night, and there were a bunch Irish fans telling him how they were excited for him to play for ND and he flat out said he isn't committing to ND, which pissed off some of the fans and they started directing profanity towards him and he eventually said "F*ck Notre Dame."

Someone wrote "RTB" right after that and he yelled out "Row the Boat" and was extremely complimentary to Fleck. He was later talking to a lot of guys that I later found out after doing some research were Gopher commits or targets.

So if I had to guess I would say he will be committed to the Minnesota again.

Who are the Irish fans that have time to watch a kids live stream that probably wasn't even a publicized or planned event? Some people spend wayyy too much online.

Also why get mad because a kid doesn't want to play for your school. People need to get a life.

Welcome to recruiting. I was gonna post about him, Walters, Reggie Flurima Jr ('22) and Tyler McLaurin today.

I talked to my Bolingbrook buddy yesterday who coaches against these guys in the 'Brook/Naperville/Plainfield area and he said ND's gonna land em all and the only question is if they offer McLaurin.

I always thought RTB meant: Run the ball. What an acrimonious time we live in.

People, fans need a life. I know it happens with every fanbase, but damn leave kids alone on social media.
