Not that hyped about Slocum just yet. Had a 11.4/100 best last spring at 6-2/180 (a very optimistic 180) Keep an eye for his combine #'s at the Nike/Adi/AU events this offseason

Strictly plays deep centerfield and all of his INT's are bad over throws. Would love to see ANY tape of him coming to the line and checking the slot. Doesn't have any highlights of him coming down hill and blowing kids up. Did have some breakups on deep balls.

On the much brighter side: 3.95 GPA / 1380 SAT

Looks like a quality kid who'll get his chance to prove the offer is a good one.

Then again, after having Mr Hamilton in our lives for the past two years, a lot of really good players are looking really average.

Bottom line is teams are needing to get more dbs on the field which means you have to get more on the roster. We may be seeing a lot of schools reaching at DB in the future. A lot of teams us included playing with 6 DBs at any given time

Academics are stressed in his family and many family members went to college in the midwest. A visit to Notre Dame is a priority for him, per Sinclair.

“I have a great relationship with Coach Polian and Coach Kelly,” Mokiao-Atimalala said. “In the beginning, they wanted to recruit me as a safety, and then they saw my tape at wideout, and said I can play offense if I want to. So, I’m being recruited as an athlete.”

Being recruited as an Athlete. He’s gone on record a bunch of times and said he wants to try WR so I’ll be he starts there but he’s subject to moving for sure. He’s good enough where he can start where he wants and then figure it out later. Just get him in the program.

Agreed and they've been recruiting him as such the whole time. You can go back to February and he talks about them recruiting him as an ATH to fit his wants at WR. I just think it's unlikely he ends up there. And, from a numbers perspective, it seems difficult to take TMA, Jayden Thomas, Donte Thornton, and Jaden Slocum.

We already have 4 DB commits. 6 seems like overkill. If he's a WR then that'd be 4 WR's and 2 TE's following a class of 3 WR's and 2 TE's the year prior. Need to see those numbers spread out a bit.
