Buchner looked like he still has a lot to learn, especially about when or not to force the throw. Pyne on other hand, looked like he was totally unprepared to enter the game. Might as well have thrown in Powlus Jr.

Sounds like TB is hurt bad.

I just don't know what to think after this. Everything is spinning and it makes me mad and sad.

Pyne is not good. Kid seems like a quality human being but his upside is not good.

Angeli might be the option here... good god where are we right now?

Is this me? Is that you? I feel walls crashing in. I think Rees sucks as an OC now and I feel like I ate a 10 strip of L.

He's gone sometime between now and the end of the season. He's responsible for the sh*tty QB room and the lack of development at the position.

That's stinks for him. Hopefully he'll heal up well and come back stronger than ever for whatever school he transfers to after the season.

If Buchner really is out for a significant amount of time, I wonder if there will be another QB competition or if it's Pyne's job to lose.

ND needs to bring in the best QB transfer at the end of the year I’m sorry but every top 25 teams back up is better. Idc about hurt feelings either

Without Buchner we may be in a world of hurt. But dang, you are really pessimistic. I see 5-7 as likely. 2-10 is a fireable offense.

I haven't really said much about his OC play calling, but it's pretty obvious that your thoughts are right on! I'm totally lost for words on the Irish status right now! Bummer of a season no doubt!

I only caught the fourth quarter on TV but that pick six was really an atrocious decision. It was 3rd and 3 and they had Meyer stacked behind a WR on the wide side of the field. That looks like an easy bubble screen for a first down. Instead Buchner throws across his body to Thomas who has a DB draped all over him? Woof.

Anyway, I hope Buchner's OK but yeah that didn't look good. And Pyne looked even worse.

They seemed like a tough and well-coached team, and I saw that RB was a five-star recruit at Florida State? Yeah they're not that bad. But...

If you study or have played Lacrosse (I presume IRISHLAX is a player).... you see Tyler Buchner - the way he cuts and runs. Hell he could have a stick in his hand and be beating a tight crease towards the goal. Supposedly he was an amazing Lacrosse player. Well that is what we have. I know the TV called him a "Wildcat Offense QB". That is what we have. But that doesn't work well against Top 20 programs as they will load the box again and again.

His passing was awful. I think Rees and Freeman has really over controlled this kid and he maybe spent. Whatever touch and passing prowess he had in High School is now gone.

Pyne is also ruined. Rees please go to the NFL.

Angeli is now the hope. OMG.
