Looking at his game log from each year, it looks like he indeed only has one year left.

Brandon Joseph was at NW for 3 years and didn't have his degree, but ND was able to get him through admissions. Riley Leonard was at Duke for 3 years and doesn't have his degree, but it appears that ND will get him through admissions. ND basketball just brought in Julian Roper, who spent 2 years at NW and didn't have his degree. They got him through admissions.

I had a theory that ND can get undergrads who are more than 1 year out of HS through admissions as long as they attend an elite academic institution. NW and Duke are elite academic institutions. I think this might confirm my theory. ND can probably do the same thing with undergrads from Stanford and Vanderbilt. Freeman and company need to start tampering with Elic Ayomanor and David Bailey from Stanford and get them to hit the portal. It shouldn't matter that they're both just true Sophomores.

So it’s official he has 1 year?

And he doesn’t have a degree yet, but could he have it after this semester?
He has been there 3 years?

Last year: Love Hartman's stats, concerned about his size and fit.
This year: Love Riley's size and fit, concerned about stats.

He wasn’t an early enrollee. If he came in June of 2021, he’s only been at Duke for 2 1/2 years. Fair to assume he was nearing completion of his degree

for those wondering why leonard can transfer in w/o being a grad transfer.

Notre Dame generally likes people to transfer after their freshman year because of credit acceptance from their respective college and 60 credits are required from Notre Dame for a degree. freshman level classes usually transfer in easier. transferring classes from a school like duke usually aren't an issue like they would be from most other schools. he's completing his 5th semester since his 10 semester clock started. as long as he's completed 60 credits towards his degree and still on track with 12 hours this spring at ND, he's g2g. he may eat some credits transferring because he would still need 60 to graduate, but as long as he's bringing in 60 transferable credits after 5 semesters of enrollment from duke he'll be eligible.

I’ll be honest, my excitement just isn’t there. Can someone talk me into him?
He’s an absolutely electric runner.. and with our stable of backs It’ll open up the read option & hopefully a passing game that he’s got a more than capable arm for.

Add a better OL than he’s ever had & it takes our O to another level..

That’s all said with the reality that Parker is still in the OC position unfortunately.

he has one year of competition remaining out of the next 2.5 years(5 semesters). could get injured and still have medshirt year or redshirt year, etc.
