If they have another season like last season and start landing a lot of elite recruits, they need to back out of marquee early season games. Take the Indiana approach or use the Miami excuse of "scheduling conflicts" and schedule FCS teams and UMass. They can't afford to lose the momentum from the previous season.

Tanking this season while trying to land the plane on the best class of my life time would be some really tragic stuff. Really need a 9-3 or better finish to maintain some momentum. Can sell to recruits that we had a freshman QB who is going to be a star at least.

Lets hope we don't continue inventing new ways to lose, with that guy at DC I'm not optimistic against any legit opponents and until USC I have reservations.

He should just be head coach and defensive coordinator.
