Yeah, sure, maybe they had a reason. Or multiple. For example:
- Getting recruits out on Thursday might result in extra recruiting time, as several might stay through the weekend anyway.
- If most programs are scheduling events on weekends, putting an event on Thursday conflicts less and might increase turnout.
- A bunch of other pros that the program probably weighed out.

I don’t think any of this outweighs the ask to come out and be in South Bend on a Thursday (so probably traveling Wednesday). But that’s just me. In terms of the “concern” - I’m interested because it directly impacts recruiting. I don’t think that’s unfair.

My original comment was probably too harsh, but man, I really can’t get behind having this on a Thursday. Hopefully we have a great turnout.

Somewhat joking…. To me it looks like the staff and especially freeman got a little over confident after landing a few key recruits and a home run OC… forgot the hustle and it’s crushing the end to the 2025 class and start to 26

I get the premise of this, but there a more than few big names and talented dudes that are seriously considering ND at this point.

#1 safety from Louisiana, Top 150 potential vyper from Glanville in Ohio, NFL legacy Top 150 MLB prospect, a Top 150 Chicagoland DL, Top 100 Midwestern OG/T etc..
