Guess you have to figure which is more likely...

(1) All those schools offered because they weren't interested at all?

(2) They ALL offered because they were interested, and some 'cooled' because to this point he hasn't wanted to leave the region.

Or course, you could also explain to me how South Carolina is regional but Clemson isn’t if we’re really sticking to that? Athens really too far?

Possibly but not likely, at least from what I heard from coaches in the Raleigh/Durham area. I'll see if my son gets any different info from anyone at Duke Camp on Monday then what I received from those at the NC State camp.

Williams-Brice is about 40 miles closer than Clemson. I also thought they all offered EXCEPT for Clemson, so they wouldn't be a factor anyway. They signed a 3* and seem to be in good position with a 5* DT Perry-Wright and a 4* DT Stancil. Athens is a couple hours further than both of those schools and about 5½ hours from Durham.

When you have 2 houses you can do that. In today's era of recruiting not only do you win over the recruit, but their parents as well; great tactic by Freeman.
