I listened to the podcast. These opinions seem entirely based on the Mike Brown interview.

Also, I’m so tired of the “who’s going to play boundary!?” question. Why would any OC want a receiver that is strictly tied to the boundary? Good receivers can play anywhere. That’s why a healthy Greathouse is so intriguing.

Man the WR coach was really coy about the medical questions we were asking him

- Sampson, basically

Not sure why everyone is skeptical of Gilbert but are already completely sold on Graham, they have the same amount of in game production. I think both will be good but it’s weird, are a couple spring practices really that big of a deal?

I know Dale is going to respond to me again but it’s because Micah hasn’t done anything, ever, despite a so-so WR room (less than 100 career yards), and Graham hasn’t either but he has been behind the greatest run of #1 picks this game has ever seen and he’s a 5* talent.

It’s not my fault you need an hourly reminder your diaper appears full.

Keep that thing dry and you’ll be good

It’s actually certifiably insane that we went into 2025 with Hobbs (RS FR - bad), Golden (FR) and Zackery (FR - maybe bad) as our CB depth….

and Ash got here after the portal closed so that’s on Freeman/Mickens/Bowden.

Local media, with strict limitations on practice access, doesn’t know jack shit.
I always think it's funny when they basically regurgitate the same stuff people were saying on here even going back to pre-camp. It's not really reporting in the traditional sense, it's speculation / discussion. I also think it's funny that we have been talking since the winter that Porter's knee was fucked and he might not contribute at all this year and then it's not until practices start that 70%+ of "reporters" act like it's a surprise he physically can't go.

Most "vibes" related stuff is word of mouth from players or staff, with far fewer leaks under Freeman than there were under Kelly. It's common sense that it's going to be hard to replace Fields and Raridon. They were veterans and mid-round draft picks.

You have four total positions on the team where you need to find a player to step up - TE, RB, Boundary WR, RG. The one with the most unproven guys is WR, so that will get the most questions and ink. The keeping it 100 angle on this is that we have the best secondary in the country and yeah these guys sorta look like ass for parts of practices because the DBs are better than them. This isn't really surprising. And what I would add for Boundary WR is that Gilbert is faster than Fields and a legit deep threat his problem is that his hands/body control are allegedly nowhere close to Fields. He's not a particularly reliable "possession" receiver or red zone player. So there are probably situations where a sure handed guy like Greathouse would be a better fit over there, or you wonder if one of the young guys can break into the rotation.

And no one really knows shit until there are live reps against real competition. Going back to last year, I don't think anyone was projecting Indiana to have 3x pass catchers get drafted including a first round wide receiver.

Main reason we didn't go at least 11-1

Agree with LAX on the 4 positions. But OLine is a five athlete unit, so we'll be way better than "good" with any of about five "extra" options.
RB will be (I am about a positive of this as any guess I've made) a POWERHOUSE of a position for us. I just hope the young'uns can block like Aneyas. I'm counting on all the positive vibes I occasionally hear about the three TEs. All that's left is WR. (Am praying on that one. Seems that there are so many possibilities though that we shouldn't strike out.) Hard not to feel so good about this bunch that only a devilish turn can mess up my year.

The fact that they even opinion on fall camp after the sht show last year with “It’s Minchey, Carr is a turnover machine, this defense is ROWDY, Hobbs is the fastest player on the team and a legit nickel” is hilarious. They haven’t seen anything.

I’m actually optimistic about the receivers. Faison had a great year last year. Greathouse is healthy and receiving high praise from Denbrock. Frazier has looked good enough that he gotten time with the ones. You’ve also heard nothing to dissuade the good feelings that came with the Graham transfer. Feels like this is all just click bait

I think Zackery is being pretty non-physical on purpose in both of those clips……you can literally see him being careful not to hit either receiver (pulls his hands back) so as to not create contact. It would likely be much different if it was a full contact drill which it appears not to be.
