I've tried to chill out about it. It sucks because I hate the idea of wasting Love and Price but I really don't think this is a championship squad. Only hope is that we get a favorable bracket and the team grows and matures a lot in the postseason.

I think at their best, this team can beat anyone. And they’ve shown that during stretches this season. That’s the frustrating part. I NEVER felt Kelly’s team could actually win a title.

No team seems to play "clean" week in and week out anymore. ND hasn't really played consistently clean Freeman's entire tenure so far. Freeman's teams remain full of great potential both positive and negative. We're capable of beating any team in the country, but we can also seemingly lose to (or at least struggle with) any team in the country. We can play like this against an atrocious BC squad and roll into the playoffs and blow the barn doors off some 10 or 11 win team and neither are surprising to me.

There is some improvement. 2 years ago we lose this game. Now we just won sort of ugly. As long as we have the talent we have I suppose it is what it is.

Man, there aren't really any great teams. We can beat anybody. The game you saw UGA play today is the same game they play against everyone from Bama to the midest SEC team you can picture. All over the country it's a lot of close games and inconsistency. It's all part of the ride, I just enjoy it.

This is where the real bubble in coaching contracts is forming. It's just not sustainable to give guys like Rhule extensions every year.

No, nothing to do with today. I just don't have that feeling this year. Last year until Mills went down I honestly thought we could win it all because my thought about playing any other team was "yeah but how are they going to score?" When healthy both offensively and defensively last year we could basically drag every team in the country into the deep end and let them drown. The constant defensive havoc and ability to get 2 yards on offense anytime we wanted was so demoralizing for college kids to play against. This team is just has too many question marks for me to pick them against the field.
