Are we really sure the SEC is good? I know we joke about how bad the middle to bottom of the B1G is but I really don't see much good about the SEC outside UGA and Bama. I guess Oklahoma and Tennessee would be spooky to play too.

Tennessee has playoff talent, however, the injuries to their defensive backfield has turned an otherwise dominant defense to average. They are relying on their offense which is inconsistent against top teams.

I think Texas, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Vandy, and Tennessee would all be much harder to play than the comparable tier in the B1G.

Forgot about Ole Miss. I agree they would be a tough game. Probably would think of that as a coin flip.

Yeah, even 4-5 years ago that would have at the very least been a big decision instead of a no brainer. 10 years ago it is a no brainer in the other direction.

If you're referring to Texas/Vandy, there have been about 3 instances of Texas players not following their blockers.

This Texas Vandy game is pretty much over considering UT’s defense.

UT could have a strong argument to make the CFP if they can beat one of UGA or A&M down the stretch and go 9-3.
