I assume we end up with more Northwestern,Duke, BC players. Let's not hype ourselves up too much
I'm not getting my hopes up, either. Freeman said they'd be all about HS recruiting but then the beat said that the staff decided to not go all-in on paying recruits. They still need to pick a lane - either go all-in on paying elite HS recruits or go all-in and drop bags on the elite portal players. I'll believe it when I see it.

People say that players won't go here even if ND offers the biggest bag, but I don't buy that. A&M, Miami, and Oklahoma haven't done much the last few seasons, yet they've proven that the lack of on-field success in terms of record or at certain positions doesn't matter if you give the biggest bag to elite recruits and portal players. Do they get every one they want even when they drop the biggest bag? No, but they've gotten more players than if they did nothing. The same thing would happen with ND if they did that.

Colorado State leading WR, Caleb Goodie. They abandoned the Air Raid this year, so he is bailing. Dude has some wheels. Think he will head back to the south.

Honestly, with the tight porty deadlines and Spring classes beginning in January, this common sense approach makes a lot of sense. You gotta like this Dillingham fellow...

Backups at ASU are much less likely to find a spot than backups at ND. He kinda has to say this since a lot of them are going to go in regardless to make sure they have a spot.

He still said it and it's still doing right by the player.

Kenny D knows what's up. Refreshing to see a guy who understands. There's a reason his team is where they are. I like it. Most of the guys prob are lower on depth chat. I’m sure he treats each scenario differently.

Just curious what you think took place to land their top portal QB targets the past two off seasons? If you think they aren’t heavily involved with NIL, you are badly mistaken

Wiltfong reporting that ND is a team to watch for Purdue TE Max Klare

Three star out of high school what are we even doing going after guys that can’t play at Purdue? We need to throw millions of dollars at SEC talent

247 rates him a 92 transfer which is what Riley Leonard was. Will net out to being a top 40ish player in the portal.

“Hey Eric, come to ND! Sure, maybe you won’t catch many balls but you’ll love the weather!”???

Man... it's not really difficult to convince someone that we're gonna be even better next year than we are now.

The OL has a chance to be frighteningly good, the D is going to be even better if we get a couple portal moves right, and we'll have a QB that likes to sling it.

Love and Price will be even better which is wild to think about, we have weapons... It's not a hard sell is what I'm saying

Kris Mitchell came to Notre Dame because they convinced him they could prepare him for the NFL. Instead, his stats and targets plummeted. He might not even get invited to any mini-camps.

I’m just not sure he would be too keen on helping recruit.

Yeah, of course I was thinking about that, just not sure what KM's attitude is atm, but yeah, I'm sure he's not too happy with how it turned out. There's at least one game left, and maybe more... Who knows, maybe he can be part of some big plays in the coming weeks.
