I believe someone previously pointed out that Bowden was following (former) Cal WR Nyziah Hunter. He's 6'2" 210 lbs. and coming off a very nice year for a freshman.

EDIT: I totally spaced on the NFL draft part. They have to be talking about someone besides Hunter since he isn't draft eligible.

I don’t really put too much stock who “announces” going into the portal. Notre Dame, and many other schools, began talking to players weeks before the portal even opened.

Wouldn’t be surprised if ND had agreements in place with players before the USC game.
