Draft Daddy and his young protégé posted a 3 round mockstravaganza on the espn.com insider page.

Feed me moar!

#46 Atlanta Falcons: Benjamin Morrison - injury but so what? who cares? Good press cover and sticky hands.

#49 Cincinnati Bengals: Xavier Watts - lots of picks, may be familiar with the coaching staff.

#86 Los Angeles Chargers: Rylie Mills - versatile run stopper, ND guys do well there, whats not to love?

Jordan Reid at the espn.com cranked out a 7 round mock draft Insider exclusive as we lead up to our next national holiday.

Only the top 257 need apply

#53 Tampa Bay - Benjamin Morrison
#62 Buffalo - Xavier Watts
#160 San Francisco - Jack Kiser (yes please)
#178 Tennessee - Mitchell Evans
#221 Jacksonville - Riley Leonard

I think we end up with 6 getting drafted, will be hard to top 7 from last year but should keep us at a solid A rating on NCAA football '26, so we got that going for us, which is nice.

Honestly think Morrison and Watts both have star potential in the NFL and Evans could be a sleeper. This is a weak qb class which should help Leonard in this draft. Some team will love his leadership and physical tools he brings. Kiser should go later in the draft. His leadership and run defense will help. Love the NFL draft and looking to see where ND kids go.

I just don't see anyway Watts makes it to day 3

I think rylie Mills has too much value to not draft him in rounds 6-7 even with the injury

Everyone keeps forgetting about Cross...

Great college player, but I’m not sure how well he’ll transition to the NFL. His lack of size has always been his biggest issue and that’ll be magnified on Sundays. I don’t think it was a good sign when teams asked him to take reps at FB at the combine.

Mills played largely out of position for 4 years. Sub down pass rush upside, potential 3 - 4 front steal. I thought he would go earlier than projected before the injury. Still think he gets drafted for sure. ND Captain reputation should help too.

Hope he goes in round 2 (no later). He’s going to make a GM look like a fucking genius.

My Browns haven’t had many first round picks lately,…. Because we’re so good we haven’t needed them,…. Anyway, I guess Hunter is as good a pick as anyone in first round. I’m curious enough to ride with it…. Still wondering wtf they do at qb tho,… hopefully there’s a trade for someone.

Who is left at this point? Cousins is too expensive. I don't feel like there are many other options. I guess Carr if the Saints went QB at #9, but doesn't he have some shoulder injury that might cost him the whole season already?

Word from my source which is the establishment where Watson received his "massage therapy" is that Browns will go with a place kick holder at #2 and then trade the next 15 years worth of first round picks to get a future Hall of Famer in Aaron Rogers.

But it does sound like Hunter at 2 and then try to grab a QB in the first whether it be Dart or Milroe assuming Sanders is off to a different sucker. Go Browns...

I'm not sure that Carr can realistically be drafted cap-wise for the Saints. Cousins if he's cut/ATL takes a big cap hit in the trade, or some QB in the 2nd. I've seen Shough, but I think Milroe would at least be somewhat fun.

Kick the can down the road at that point. Dart and Milroe both blow.

Considering the relative cost to acquire them I'd rather have Shough, Howard, McCord, or Leonard in the 3rd-5th vs wasting #33 on Dart or Milroe.

I feel like this is an annual bit with whatever QB is supposed to be up near the top of the board.

Like CJ Stround as a bad apple and all of that. Let's not forget the nail painting mom hugger who was diabolical colon cancer to any lockerroom anywhere.

That said, I think I kind of believe it this time around. Don't know it for a fact, just think it might be true.
